I hate to add to the “weave” fire but I am a (non black) hairdresser in the city and many of my clients are black. They are not bald. In fact, many of them have heads full of hair. But in its natural state it is kinky or whatever you want to call it. If it is blowdryed straight it can be quite long. The problem with blowdrying (here comes my hairdressing speech) is that it makes hair brittle and damaged. ALL women white or black know this if they have non-straight hair. Most of my clients wear weaves so they don’t have to straighten (manually or chemically) their own hair all the time because remember once humidity strikes it reverts back to its original state. Whats the big deal? Its just a damn hairstyle. It doesn’t make Meagan any less beautiful that she’s not wearing her ‘natural’ hair.
