Google TiSP Offering Free Broadband Through Your Toilet!!
I was kind of shocked when I saw this, but the creative people @ Google have done it again. The Cheapass Geek Department @ Google has devised a way for geeks around the country to get free broadband. Ok-ok, it’s not exactly free, per se. The only cost: One of your precious toilets.
I’m pretty sure you can still use the toilet, that is, if you don’t mind getting the fiber optic cable slightly stained from time to time (especially after downing a carne asada burrito at your favorite Mexican joint).
Since there’s never really a free lunch in the world of capitalism, I gotta say that it might be worth sharing your toilet w/ a fiber-optic cable if it can save 30-40 bucks a month. Yes, that’s the cheapass inside me talking.
