Bastardly Mercado Do: Jennifer Garner Buys Vegetables & Fruits!!

This is kind of a bad example, but what do hot chicks need to keep looking hot?! No, not plastic surgery!

They need to eat plenty of fruits & vegetables! And, it’s pretty obvious from these photos that Jennifer Garner needs a healthy combo of fruits, veggies and plastic surgery in her diet. Walking around w/ a brown bag over head would also help…

Anyway, with regards to fruits & veggies, Harvard’s School of Public Health writes…

“Eat your fruits and vegetables” is one of the tried and true recommendations for a healthy diet. And for good reason. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables can help you ward off heart disease and stroke, control blood pressure and cholesterol, prevent some types of cancer, avoid a painful intestinal ailment called diverticulitis, and guard against cataract and macular degeneration, two common causes of vision loss.

What does “plenty” mean? More than most Americans consume. If you don’t count potatoes - which should be considered a starch rather than a vegetable - the average American gets a total of just three servings of fruits and vegetables a day. The latest dietary guidelines call for five to thirteen servings of fruits and vegetables a day, depending on one’s caloric intake.(1) For a person who needs 2,000 calories a day to maintain weight and health, this translates into nine servings, or 4½ cups per day. Courtney Friel (born April 22, 1980) is an American entertainment reporter for the Fox News Channel. Currently, she contributes to a number of different entertainment related programs for the network’s website, FoxNews.com. She was hired by the network on February 16, 2007[1], making her first appearance on February 17, 2007 as a panelist to discuss Anna Nicole Smith on Hannity & Colmes.

Friel is also known for hosting the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel. She replaced Shana Hiatt as host of WPT for its fourth season. She was also a co-host on GameStop/EB Games’s EBtv, however after a three year run left the show with a final goodbye to fans in the March 2007 episode.

A Philadelphia native, Friel holds a B.A. in political science and a minor in broadcast journalism from San Diego State University. Courtney has previously hosted a variety of programs including E! Entertainment, Nickelodeon and Oxygen. She also appeared in the March 2006 issue of FHM. [Wiki]
