Watch the debate, bastards! Hopefully, some of you will learn something and form your opinion and not just repeat the same garbage you've been spoon feed by MSNBC and the New York Times.

Obama will score points for his style, but Johnny will win on substance.

actually he was in Washington with everyone trying to figure out what to do. Both McCain and Obama said this plan is flawed. They want it revised. We must do something now. Im a libertarian so I find both candidates a little incompetent to say the least. Ron Paul was the way to go in my opinion. Oh well, no point dwelling on what could have been. Its a shame what became of this country, its truly embarrassing.

Just a heads up....This is just the beginning of the credit crisis....Wait until car loans star flipping over dead and those portfolios start folding.

Some Guy - Actually Letterman is worse than either one but you right I can't stand Dane Cook too.

Just a thought on the economic crisis...I know that the mortgages are leveraged out the win-wang, but what if we bailed out the home owners that lost their homes....Rather than empty assets....Just a thought.

I know.....We got to bail out the big wigs first....How silly of me.

PS....The debate is back on.....

No one wants to argue with you, or your other alter egos Pam.

But for the record....Because I typed it out and you obviously didn't read the other post....This is why foreign policy matters....

Aside from the housing market...Why is it failing? You must analyze that first. When an economy that is dependent on oil like ours has the oil goes from $14 dollars a barrel to over $100 a barrel there is going to be lots of problems. Not only do you have to pay for gas, but so does everyone else. That includes the trucks that deliver food...The light that keeps the chicken coop at night is lite by a plant runs on coal but need trucks to get the coal from the coal yard to the coal burning plant.

So by 2007 everything is 3 or 4 times what it was in 2000 and let me guess....No one's wages are 3 or 4 times what they were in 2000....so people start failing on their mortgages and the these collateralized loans start failing and than the bank that collateralized the loans used the mortgages to leverage another loan and bond deal and AIG insured the bond if they failed......So you fuck the middle class by starting a war that raises everything and spending of trillions and the middle class lose there homes and banks don't have collateral to cover the lost mortgages and AIG doesn't have the money to insure the failed collateralized bonds and the whole thing plummets to the ground.

So yeah...Foreign policy has basically shaped this entire crisis...

CARLOS MENCIA? You must be smoking some good crack, because Carlos Mencia only ties with Dane Cook as the worst comedian currently working.

Him replacing Letterman would bring on the apocalypse.

They always say that you should become certified, so the certified bastards will take you seriously. Well, that's what they told me and I became certified and now they just want me to go away.

This whole bailout issue is the most important economic issue since the Great Depression, so it's more important than the debate about foreign policy. A president also needs to have his priorities straight. I would say we already have a clear idea what each would do in regards to foreign policy.

Does anyone watch Letterman anymore? He used to be funny and original now I find - whenever I watch any portion of his show he is either being condesecending or fawning over some guest. As for his humor its borderline painful. Can't this old fart quit and bring in someone with some talent like Jon Stewart - I know he has his own show but there is a lot more talent out there than this stiff. What about David Chapelle, Ricky Gervais, Carlos Mencia - hell even Larry the Cable Guy would be more entertaining. Letterman sucks!

Johnny Mac also went down for the photo op just before Hurrican Rita. I think he packed one chest and went back on the plane.

I can't debate today....Well as much...too much work.

Actually Obama's main response was that a leader should be able to do more than one thing at once. I think the country needs to hear from both candidates during this crisis and McCain made a big mistake by even talking about doing a no-show to the debate. McCain, in my opinion, is trying to shake things up with regards to his poor ratings when it comes to economical issues. Kind of a "hail mary" type of move..

Johnny Mac will be there, but he is a US senator and had some important work to do, so he suspended his campaign and went to Washington. Obama said something like I have my cell phone so call me if you need me. What do you expect from a Junior Senator?
