It’s funny how the media machine works because just 3-4 weeks back, Kim Kardashian was all over the net, but her fortunes are finally taking a turn for hasbeen status. As 2008 comes to a close, we have a feeling that Kim Kardashian’s fame has peaked & now she’ll spend the next six months in a downward spiral—unless of course she can release another sex tape.

With a sultry Playboy layout & raunchy sex tape already in her scandalous past, Kim’s media whoring options are fairly limited. Unless one of her sisters does something crazy to keep the family’s name in the limelight, we think people have comfortably moved on to other completely useless things.

Olga Kurylenko reasoned a bunch of topless photos of her to be “artistic”. Apparently they were all done as a part of advertisements and they were in silhouette so there really isn’t anything to get all excited about.

“There are no actresses who haven’t appeared naked. These things are not unusual.

“It’s something I have done but it’s not what I enjoy doing. It was part of the job. I haven’t been modeling for a few years now. I don’t have to. Movies are my passion.

Natalie Portman Latest Project: ‘Impossible Pursuit’

As the movie’s executive producer, Natalie Portman along with her co-stars Scott Cohen and Charlie Tahan will begin filming in Manhattan on November 10th, as reported by Variety. Here’s more:

Natalie Portman is to star in “Love and Other Impossible Pursuits,” a romantic comedy adapted from a successful novel of the same name, the trade publication Variety reported Tuesday.

Portman, 27, replaces singer-actress Jennifer Lopez who abruptly backed out of the project, Variety reported.

Perhaps best known for her role as Padme Amidala in the three most recent “Star Wars” films — Portman will portray a woman who discovers that the way to save her marriage is through her relationship with her 10 year-old stepson. [AFP]
