Melody Thornton (born September 28, 1984) is an American R&B singer, dancer, songwriter, model, and television personality who rose to stardom as a member of the successful pop group the Pussycat Dolls. The youngest member of the group, Thornton assumes the second most prominent vocal role, after lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger, and is distinguished for her melismatic vocal runs. According to Slant Magazine, she is often recognized as “the group’s best vocalist”. [Source]

Isabel Lucas @ "(500) Days of Summer" Premiere

Isabel Lucas is Alice in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and if you recall, when Shia LaBeouf got into that car accident last year it was Isabel that was with him sparking the rumors that the two were together though she’d been linked to Adrian Grenier. Anyways, with the release of Transformers it seems like it’s the first time we’ve ever heard Isabel get quoted.

“Adrian and I broke up like a month before the car accident happened,” she recently told Australian reporters. “I know there was some love triangle that they were writing about, but that was completely nonexistent because [Grenier and I] weren’t even ­together. … Shia is one of my closest platonic friends in L.A.”

“Megan was really sisterly and warm to me when I began working on the production,” she has said. “She was aware that it is intimidating coming onto a new set where everyone is established, and she was cool.” Source

Christina Ricci @ "Bruno" L.A. Premiere

I don’t care what you bastards say, but this chick is seriously an ageless beauty! I feel like she’s been around forever, but she’s still lookin’ great!

Anyway, Christina Ricci will be one of the long list of A-list celebs set to star in “New York, I Love You,” which hits theaters later this year in October. Here’s more info about the movie:

From the producers of Paris, je t’aime, it stars an ensemble cast, among them Shia LaBeouf, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Blake Lively, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Andy Garcia, Christina Ricci, Robin Wright Penn and Ethan Hawke.

“New York, I Love You” is a collective work of eleven short films, with each segment running around 10 minutes long. Some of the directors have international status, with each shooting their part in one of New York’s five boroughs. Similar to the previous film, Paris, je t’aime, the shorts presented together will not relate but will all tie into the common theme of finding love. [Source]

In a recent interview, Blake Lively reveals that she didn’t really want to be an actress. To her credit, she’s not that great so it’s all good. “It was the last thing I wanted to do,” laughs the 21-year-old. “Because it was like the family business.” (Her father and four older siblings are all actors, while her mother is a talent manager.) “It didn’t seem like this grand, wonderful Hollywood thing. It was just what my family did. So I worked my whole life to go to Stanford. And then in my junior year of high school I auditioned for about two months because my brother thought I would like acting and he made his agent send me out.” She trudged along to the appointments only because she adored her older brother Eric, who had a role in The L Word, and she “didn’t want to make him mad”.

“And I got my first movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005). And once I did it I thought, ‘Oh, I love acting.’ So I finished high school and I thought I could go to college later.” Source
