These were snapped earlier today as Selena Gomez was spotted having some fun on the beach while filming her upcoming movie “Monte Carlo.” She’s standing next to co-star Katie Cassidy.

“Monte Carlo” also stars Leighton Meester, so assuming you dig romantic comedies, look for the film in theaters sometime in 2011. Here’s more about the film:

Two teenage best friends, Emma (Kate Cassidy) and Grace (Selena Gomez) save up money to go to Paris. The two are joined by Grace’s soon-to-be step-sister, Meg (Leighton Meester). In Paris, Grace is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress and the three girls suddenly find themselves at the center of attention and on a dream vacation to Monte Carlo.[4] According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The story kicks into adventure mode when a million-dollar necklace goes missing and the girls must scramble to find it.” [Source]
