Here’s more about the movie Kat’s currently working on these days in Vancouver, Canada:

Story centers on a disaffected high school senior who finds herself deposited along with her widowed father in a desolate Canadian hamlet where boredom leads her into an affair with a teacher and into a more promising romance with a druggie teen.[Source]

And, besides this indy gig, Kat was recently cast in the $150mil project “Thor,” which is based on the comic book pimped by Marvel Comics and releases May 6, 2011.

Amber Heard @ 15th Annual Saks Fifth Ave’s Unforgettable Evening

Not exactly her best look, but when when you’re as hot as Amber Heard, you don’t exactly need clothes & makeup to showcase your hotness. But as always, Bastardly Hotness Level has an inverse relationship to the amount of clothes on a hot chick’s bod.

Anyway, look for Amber in three films in 2010: “And Soon the Darkness,” “The Rum Diary” (March 11th), and a horror flick called “The Ward,” which hits theaters on September 24th.

Taylor Swift @ 15th Annual Saks Fifth Ave’s Unforgettable Evening

Taylor Swift is about as exciting as watching paint dry, so here’s some filler news…

Pimp-Daddy producer Quincy Jones is planning an star-studded sequel to “We Are the World” to benefit Haitian earthquake relief efforts following this Sunday’s Grammy Awards.

Earlier it was reported that the event would involve a long-awaited reunion of Taylor Swift and Kanye West after Kanye made an ass of himself during last year’s MTV VMAs by disrupting one of Taylor’s acceptance speeches. Long story short, the grand reunion will have to wait b/c Taylor’s flying off to Australia right after the Grammy Awards to kick off her world tour. You can read more at the CMT Blog.

Audrina Patridge Films “The Hills” at Solar De Cahuenga

Since there’s not much having in Audrina’s life & career, I’ll talk about a recent Audrina sighting. I popped in the “Hurt Locker” Blu-Ray the other night (great fucking movie, by the way) & the first trailer was Audrina’s straight-to-DVD hit “Sorority Row!” The flick also stars Hollywood greats like Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Rumer Willis’ jaw, & the token-Asian chick to attract all the rice chasers, Jamie Chung. I’ll be honest, as I watched the trailer, I really wanted to check out the film, but the only thing that looks good about it is that Audrina dies in the first 10 minutes.

Morning Mocha: Angell Conwell @ ”STOMP” Opening in L.A.

I fell in love with Angell Conwell when I sat the Oscar nominated “Soul Plane” at the theaters. I still can’t believe Snoop Dogg bagged an Academy Award for this flick! Good for him!

Anyway, these days Angell’s full-time job is to look hot, so all you producers & directors out there, call up this woman’s agent and sign her up for a project booty shaking & stripping!! And, you never know, you might just get lucky! Ow!

Olivia Wilde @ 15th Annual Saks Fifth Ave’s Unforgettable Evening

Besides checking out Olivia on the Fox medical drama “House,” look for her later this year in “Tron Legacy,” the long awaited sequel to the 1982 film “Tron.” Other cast members include Jeff Bridges who’ll reprise his role as Kevin Flynn & Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley and Tron.

Here’s some plot action:

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
