Supermodel Naomi Campbell bagged the Outstanding Contribution Award at the Elle Style awards last night. Even though she smokes crack & beats up on poor people from time to time, I’d have to say I agree with this award since Naomi does a lot of charity work within the fashion industry.

Her latest efforts include a couple Fashion Relief events to benefit those suffering in Haiti. She put on two runway shows including many of her celebrity friends at the New York & London Fashion Weeks earlier this month.

Eliza Doolittle is a singer–songwriter who is signed to the Parlophone record label. Her debut album due to be released in Spring 2010.

The first release from Eliza is a self-titled EP that features four tracks ‘Rollerblades’, ‘Moneybox’, ‘Police Car’ and ‘Go Home’. This was released on 29th November 2009.

Tracks from the EP have been remixed by Plastic Little (‘Rollerblades’) and Jamie from The xx (‘Money Box’).The EP has also received radio plays from Rob Da Bank, Nick Grimshaw[1], Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley. [Source]

Once you give a Mercedes G500 & full access to cute lil’ dolphins at the Atlantis in the Bahamas, you can’t just give any rock for your engagement.

Let’s just say that NHL player Mike Comrie is creating a life full of fucked-up expectations for himself with these insane gifts. We don’t know whether he’s a complete dumbass or whether he passionately despises being a cheapass, but giving luxury cars and million dollar rings on an NHL-star budget is simply not financially savvy. Whatever the case, it appears he’s getting something in return, but we all know he overpaid by about 6-700k—AT LEAST!
