Maggie Q will be serving the “Bastardly Rice Chaser” demographic later this fall as she plays the lead in a new action-drama titled “Nikita” based on the highly popular 1990 French film “Nikita” and the 1997 television series “La Femme Nikita.” The series will premiere on September 9, 2010 & each Thursday at 9:00/8c thereafter.
For those of you bastards who plan to watch the series, make sure you first watch the original French film, which is currently on NetFlix Instant. I’m gonna check it out this weekend. Here’s a pic of Maggie Q in her “Nikita” getup:

Looks like "Chuck" has morphed the networks. All the networks seem to be tooling a sexy spy show for the fall. Like "Chuck" without the nerd flavoring.
Yeah, and on CW that just makes me cringe even more.

At least she can kick ass though unlike Peta Wilson. She was a much better villain than Timothy Olyphant in Die Hard 4. Bridget Fonda was also surprisingly decent in Point of No Return. The best Nikita is still Anne Parillaud.
