Winona Ryder @ IFP’s 20th Annual Gotham Indy Film Awards

These were snapped last night at IFP’s 20th Annual Gotham Indy Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street.

Winona Ryder portrays the role of ballerina named Beth MacIntyre in “Black Swan.” Her character is replaced Natalie Portman’s character at the beginning of the film. Here’s more about the plot:

A New York City ballet company is producing Swan Lake, and director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) with ballerina Nina (Portman). Nina lives with Erica (Hershey), her overbearing mother and a former ballerina. Nina finds competition in new dancer Lily (Kunis). Swan Lake requires a ballerina who can play the innocent White Swan, which fits Nina, and the sensual Black Swan, which fits Lily. The dancers’ rivalry changes into a bizarre friendship, and Nina begins exploring a dark side of herself which ultimately reveals her lesbian sexuality. [Source]

These were snapped last night at IFP’s 20th Annual Gotham Indy Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street.

Anne Hathaway’s new flick “Love and Other Drugs” got killed at the box-office over Thanksgiving weekend, coming in AFTER “Burlesque” in the revenue department. I read a few reviews before hitting up “127 Hours” last night & I found one Fandango fan review kinda funny, to say the least: “…like watching a porno.” And, other reviewers were similarly shocked at Anne Hathaway’s willingness to do such explicit scenes, with one going as far as saying that it’ll “set Anne Hathaway’s career back five years.”

And, in other news: Anne Hathaway & James Franco will be hosting the Oscars! I gotta admit, I’m very optimistic about how well these two will perform on stage. I feel like they’ll have great on-screen comedic chemistry for some reason…

These were snapped earlier today as Lindsay was spotted leaving her Palm Desert outpatient home. So, did Linds make some progress or has that board been there all along?

Besides doing her recovery thang, she was also took care of some holiday shopping, stopping at a jewelry store at an outlet near Palm Springs, followed by brief visit to the local Prada Store. Lindsay better watch out how much cash she’s dropping these days b/c she recently lost her gig in the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic “Inferno” to Malin Akerman. She’s currently jobless, so we’ll see how desperate Lindsay gets once she gets out of rehab early January.

Kim Kardashian is one of the faces in this striking new ad to help battle AIDS around the world. The reality TV star is seen lying inside a coffin alongside the words “Kim Kardashian is Dead.” It’s not real, all you Kim haters!! The bootilicious diva is still ticking…for now.

Kim, along with other big doggs including Lady GaGa, Justin Timberlake, and others will temporarily sacrifice their digital lives to help raise money for the Keep a Child Alive charity. The celebrities are vowing to stay offline from their respective Facebook & Twitter accounts on December 1st until $1 million is raised for the charity. Kim currently has 5.4 million followers on Twitter.
