Hailee Steinfeld @ 2011 SAG Awards

Hailee Steinfeld was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her role in True Grit at last night’s SAG Awards. However, she lost out to Melissa Leo of The Fighter. Additionally, Jeff Bridges was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role but lost out to Colin Firth’s performance in The King’s Speech.

Claire Danes @ 2011 SAG Awards

Claire Danes won the SAG Award for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries” for her performance in HBO’s Temple Grandin.

Temple Grandin is a 2010 biopic directed by Mick Jackson and starring Claire Danes as Temple Grandin, a woman with autism who revolutionized practices for the humane handling of livestock on cattle ranches and slaughterhouses. Wiki

Fashion Rating: Jennifer Lawrence in Hot Pink @ 2011 SAG Awards

No real surprise last night seeing how Natalie Portman ran away with the Best Actress award. Unfortunately for Jennifer, the same thing will also happen at the Academy Awards. For Jennifer’s sake, let’s just hope she can land another powerful role later in her career that’ll allow her to bag an Oscar.
