So what are your thoughts on the job that Anne Hathaway and James Franco did as hosts of the Oscars? She did have a fan in Billy Crystal:

“That felt really good. I didn’t realize I was doing it for [Crystal’s praise,] but it turns out I was because my heart just exploded,”

“We rehearsed together… the first thing I did was kneel before [Crystal,] and take his hand and the second thing I did was [ask him,] ‘Tell me what to do,’ and he said, ‘Just look like you want to be there every single second that you are on camera.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I got that part in the bag,’ because this whole thing has been such an amazing adventure and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now.

“I was working with the loveliest people, it was the most effortless collaboration that it never felt like work. I really mean it, it was an adventure. And I was so curious what was going to happen next, I had no idea what I was doing, so I was just really curious.” Source

Scarlett Johansson has her role as Natalie Rushman/Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the upcoming The Avengers movie, not set for release until 2012. However, last year she spent time working on her music career. Did anyone catch Steel Train’s Terrible Thrills Vol. 1, which featured Scarlett’s song “Bullet”? According to her Wiki page, Scarlett sings “One Whole Hour” for the soundtrack of the documentary film Wretches And Jabberers… and guess what, we found it on YouTube!

Natalie Portman @ 83rd Annual Academy Awards

Well, at the time that we’re getting this post up Natalie Portman hasn’t been presented with the Oscar for Best Actress yet; however, we’re going to make the assumption that Natalie will be named the winner. Any chance Jennifer Lawrence pulls the upset of the night? Natalie’s already won the Best Actress award for her role in Black Swan at the SAG, Golden Globes, Independent Spirit, BAFTAs, and the list goes on…

We’re going to assume that she won’t be getting any of this critical acclaim for any of her 2011 films including No Strings Attached, Your Highness, and Thor.

Mila Kunis @ 83rd Annual Academy Awards

Though being nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at both the Golden Globe and SAG Awards, Mila Kunis didn’t get nominated for an Oscar being the only replaced nominee by Jacki Weaver from Animal Kingdom. Either way, Melissa Leo from The Fighter has taken home the award from the previous two shows so (as with Natalie Portman for Best Actress) we’re just going to assume that Mila didn’t have a chance either way.

Prepare yourself for Mila’s next movie, Friends With Benefits co-starring Justin Timberlake. The movie is scheduled for release on July 22nd. More info at the Friends With Benefits official website. This film is not yet rated.

Jennifer Lawrence @ 83rd Annual Academy Awards

Jennifer Lawrence has gone 0 for 3 so far this awards season losing out to Natalie Portman for Best Actress at the SAG, Golden Globes, and Indepndent Spirit Awards. Who’s to say that tonight’s Oscars will be any different. Jennifer has been nominated for her lead role in Winter’s Bone. If you haven’ seen it, check out abba’s film review to get an understanding of the film; since we already know all we want/need to know about Natalie Portman and Black Swan.

Up next for Jennifer are Mel Gibson’s The Beaver and X-Men: First Class as Raven Darkholme/Mystique.
