Katie Cassidy has had a recurring role on CW’s Gossip Girl playing Juliet Sharp, the love interest of Nate Archibald. To date she’s appeared in 11 episodes. Additionally, Katie stars with Leighton Meester and Selena Gomez in the upcoming film Monte Carlo. The movie is set for release on July 1st.

Three young girls (Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Katie Cassidy) use their savings for a dream trip to Paris, which turns out to be a big disaster. When they decide to take a break from their lousy tour and sneak into the lobby of a 5-star hotel, one of the girls is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress. Before they get the chance to reveal their true identities, the girls are wrapped up in a whirlwind of paparazzi, couture gowns, storybook romances, and living the glamorous life in Monte Carlo. Former Playboy model Shauna Sand spent another day at the beach with her new husband Laurence in Miami, Florida on February 24th, 2011. The day before she had been wearing a pair of ridiculously high platform heels and continued that fashion trend today accenting them with a robin’s egg blue bikini. The ex-playmate and Lorenzo Lamas wife enjoyed a massage while there and hanging with her new hubby.

As her lil’ sis Ashlee battles through a divorce, Jessica Simpson was spotted hitting the gym yesterday in Los Angeles in an attempt to get her bod back in tip-top shape for her upcoming wedding. She announced her engagement to former NFL player Eric Johnson last November, with no set wedding at this time.

As we’ve discussed previously, Jessica Simpson is rolling in major dough these days. Here’s a snippet from a recent Lalate article referencing her finances:

Jessica Simpson’s net worth is rising as her fashion empire is now generating nearly $1 billion in annual sales. How much does Jessica Simpson make per year on her fashion lines? Throughout most of 2010, news reports have disagreed about Simpson’s personal take due to lack of disclosures.

As reported previously on LALATE, an early 2010 Forbes report claimed Simpson’s shoes and accessories earn $500 million in sales, annually. That is compared to Sean Diddy Combs’ $500 million and Jay-Z’s $700 million annual numbers.

But a new report today revises those numbers. New York news is reporting that Simpson’s fashion empire (not her personally) will gross $750 million in sales this year, alone. (

Kate Middleton & Prince William Already “Working” As Royal Couple

Aaaw, how sweet! Prince William & his hot princess-to-be Kate Middleton made their first official appearance together. The couple opened a bottle of champagne over the lifeboat during the Naming Ceremony and Service of Dedication of the Atlantic 85 Lifeboat ‘Hereford Endeavor’ at Trearddur Bay. Kate still has the “I just struck the Royal Lottery” glow.

For those of you who live in London or possibly traveling through the city in April, make sure you attend the upcoming royal wedding that’s set to go down on April 29th. Anybody plan to attend?
