Nothing new to report on Jennifer since our last post aside from appearing on an episode of “Hot in Cleveland” so therefore…

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been cast in the movie adaptation of the Off-Broadway comedy “Jewtopia”. Considering that Jennifer has been hailed the Worst Reviewed Actress since 1985, she must be pretty glad to land any role at this point. The movie will also star Ivan Sergei of Crossing Jordan fame. The show is about two friends — a Jew named Adam and Gentile named Chris — who want to find Jewish women to marry; Adam, to please his family, and Chris so he never has to make another decision in his life again.

The two decide to team up, with Chris teaching geeky Adam how to attract women and Adam bringing Chris into the world of temple mixers and Jewish online dating. Sergei will play Chris, while Love Hewitt will take on the role of Alison, the woman he zeroes in on as the cure to a life filled with the responsibility of free will.

Leading up to the 2011 Miss Universe competition, to be held in Sao Paolo on September 12th, Donald Trump took the chance to have a bunch of his former winners take part in a photoshoot with photographer Fadil Berisha in NYC. Included are Flaviana Matata, Chloe Mortaud, Rosanna Purcell, Riyo Mori, Shandi Finnessey, Amelia Vega, Dayanna Mendoza, Angela Martini, Susie Castillo, Crystle Stewart, Zana Krasnigi, Marigona Dragusha. Rachel Weisz stars as Kathryn Bolkovac in The Whistleblower. The film is inspired by the actual events of Kathryn Bolkovac and had originally premiered at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival. Look for it in theaters on August 5th. For more info, visit the The Whistleblower official website.

Charlize Theron’s next film Young Adult, directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody, is set to hit theaters in limited release on December 9th. The significance is that it’ll be released in time for Oscar consideration. So we’re guessing this movie is kind of a big deal. Considering that Charlize’s last credit was the Narrator in 2009′s Astro Boy, she’ll be making a nice return to the big screen either way.

Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn’t quite gotten over high school, either. [Wiki]
