Marisa Tomei stars as Ida Horowicz in George Clooney’s The Ides of March, a political drama starring and directed by Clooney; he also helped to write the screenplay. Also starring in the movie are Ryan Gosling, Evan Rachel Wood, and Paul Giamatti. Basically Clooney plays a Democratic presidential candidate. Look for it in theaters in October. J.T.’s a co-owner of the joint, so I guess there’s no better marketing tool than an announced performance to build some buzz! With all his recent successes at the box-office, I almost forgot that his claim to fame is music, so it’s nice to see him hitting up a live performance. Don’t know about you bastards, but I certainly wouldn’t mind an impromptu J.T. performance to go with my baby back ribs, mac & cheese & fried pickles! OW!
Anyway, Justin’s next big film to hit theaters is actually a $200 million sci-fi action thriller titled “In time” starring Amanda Seyfried & Olivia Wilde, who, believe it or not, plays the role of his mother! I caught the trailer recently when I saw “Rise of the Planet of Apes” and I gotta admit, it looked pretty sweet. I’m pulling for the guy b/c he’s a true entertainer. Here’s some plot:
In a retro-future when the aging gene has been switched off, people must pay to stay alive. People stop aging at 25 years old. However, stamped on their arm is a clock of how long they will live. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man is accused of murder when he inherits a fortune of time from a dead upper class man. He is forced to go on the run from a corrupt FBI-like police force known as the ‘Timekeepers’. Cindy Crawford doesn’t appear in George Clooney’s The Ides of March but since her husband Rande Gerber is close friends with Clooney, of course it’d be an excuse for them to all just hang out in Venice in Clooney’s villa. And in case you were wondering, Cindy Crawford is at 45 year old now.
Photo Credit: Pacific Coast News These were snapped on Day 2 (Tuesday, August 30) at the US Open when Novak defeated Conor Niland of Ireland, who retired in the second set.
Either Novak Djokovic is too busy winning tournaments to find a new hottie or this Jelena Ristic chick is truly something special. In support of her staying power, Djokovic did after compare the shade during a hot match at last year’s US Open to having sex with his girlfriend, so we’re gonna assume she does a good job in keep the dude happy behind closed doors. I have a feeling Jelena’s here to stay since players in Novak’s position are extremely superstitious and when you consider the fact that he’s nearly 60-2, there’s noway in hell he’s gonna screw with his tennis mojo by bringing in a hotter chick.
These photos were snapped just yesterday (Tuesday, August 30) as an extremely pregnant Alyssa Milano was smiling her way back to her car following a pre-labor session at a Beverly Hills spa & salon. Today (Wednesday, August 31), the 38-year-old actress gave birth to a baby boy named Milo Thomas who weighted in at 7 lbs. The baby-daddy is CAA agent David Bugliari.
Let’s see how long it takes Alyssa to get back to her petite, pre-pregnancy figure, so that we can induct her into the M.I.L.F. Hall of Fame!
Kristin Cavallari called off her engagement to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and his reported $7.6 million salary for the upcoming season but has since been cast for the next season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars being paired with Mark Ballas, who’s won the competition in the past with Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson as partners. Anyways, looks like Kristin really isn’t at all bothered over not getting a piece of Jay’s paycheck as our assumption is that she’s already getting cozy with Mark days after the cast for the next season was officially announced. Kristin is reportedly a 5-1 favorite to win the competition. Check out the season premiere on September 19th.
Audrina Patridge, who claims the two are friends, had this to say about Kristin being included in the show, considering she had participated back in 2010, season 11.
“I’ve never really seen Kristin dance. But I’m sure she’s going to have a good time and I’ll be cheering for her, that’s for sure…She can count on my votes.”
“She was like, ‘How did you like it? It’s going to be fun, right?'” Patridge said. “I was like, ‘Yeah! You’re going to have a blast! It’s going to be a lot of fun. It does get pretty intense but it’s the best experience you’ll ever have. It’s amazing.'” [Source]
