These were snapped on Wednesday evening (Nov. 23) in London as the “Twilight” stars, who finally finished a grueling promotional tour of their latest film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” were seen hitting up the popular music venue Camden Dingwalls to watch a performance by friend Marcus Foster. Following the show, the couple hit the neighboring Highlight Bar before running back home, away from annoying members of the papz. I guess freedom is the prices you have to pay for all the fame & fortune.

The Hoff was in Madrid last night to attend the premiere of “Fuga de Cerebros 2″ (“Brain Drain 2″). The former “Knight Rider” star makes a cameo on the film. The two ladies stuck all over D. Hoff are Patricia Montero (gold dress) & Paula Prendes. Apparently the original “Brain Drain” was a runaway success critically & financially (read more here). The sequel hits theaters on December 2. You can watch the trailer here.

Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas continued their promotion of Puss in Boots and this time the duo was in Madrid for the Spanish premiere. I swear, there’s been a new premiere every single day since the world premiere on October 28. Having been out for just about a month now, the film has earned over $180 million; considering a budget of $130 million and all the promo work you’d think that the studio had higher expectations. Well, we’ll do our part to try to plug the film which is still in your local theater, probably up against Breaking Dawn. For more info, visit the Puss in Boots official website.

Kelly Brook celebrated her 32nd birthday last night. Kelly Brook Birthday Sex Lottery Winner Thom Evans looks like he’s in a rush b/c he’s anxious about the upcoming tantric birthday sex that’s about to kickoff as soon as he & Kelly get home. Who can blame him, right? These were snapped last night as the couple were seen leaving The Ivy restaurant in Covent Garden following a birthday dinner.

View All Photos ›While most of my favorite shows are on hiatus this week because of that whole turkey holiday thing, Modern Family had a new episode in the bank which thankfully left me something else to do besides wander into the theater for my umpteenth holiday movie review. P.S.: look out for my review of Hugo tomorrow. (Aside: why do they always release the best movies for the holiday season? Why???!)
Modern Family took a slightly different route for their third season Thanksgiving episode. It wasn’t really about Thanksgiving or cooking or unwelcome relatives dropping for too many helpings of turkey - all the typical things we’ve seen in the past on holiday episodes of Friends, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.
Instead, the show was about dreaming (too much) and tethering those very same dreamers to reality(too much). In each of the Pritchett-Dunphy couples, one person is the dreamer (Phil, Gloria, Cam) and the other is the tetherer/dream squasher (Claire, Jay, Mitchell). Thus the conflict of which is the better way to live is explored as Claire bastes a Butterball and Manny pieces together the world’s ugliest Thanksgiving dinner centerpiece. For good measure, Haley and Alex get into a (minor) accident with their mom’s minivan.
When an old neighbor Kenneth (Josh Gad) reappears to tell of how he used Phil’s positive influence on him to achieve tremendous success in his life, Phil begins to wonder why (at the suggestion of Luke) he hasn’t been able to do the very same for himself. Cue the furtive look at Claire . . .
Gloria, meanwhile, does her absolute sexy best to field Jay’s criticisms of Manny’s centerpiece since her own mother was overly critical of her and she wishes to keep Manny insulated in the happy bubble of excessive self-esteem where nothing he does is wrong or inadequate. Jay . . . not so much.
Cam, in yet another one of his ridunculous farm stories, gets into it with Mitchell when his red haired better half doubts Cam’s ‘Punkin Chunkin’ story of how he was able to launch a pumpkin all the way across a football field.
The episode was not especially funny in an outrageous, laugh-out-loud kind of way, but it was clever and (perhaps more importantly) rooted in real life. Everyone knows where they fall on the dreamer/realist spectrum, and can relate to at least one of the characters’ struggles. It was all tidily wrapped up by the end (when the standard guitar music begins to play, we know the moral is being espoused upon us), which while perhaps a bit unrealistic, still filled me with a feeling of warmth and familiarity.
Overall, a sweet, tender episode. Now we can’t wait to see what drama unfolds over Christmas and New Year’s . . .
Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s sad how Kim Kardashian is blatantly using Los Angeles Mission’s 75th Annual Thanksgiving meal to continue resuscitating her image following her fake wedding to douche bag Kris Humphries. Maybe she should consider releasing another sex tape b/c we all know how well that trick worked the first time around. After all, at the end of the day Kim is simply a glorified porn star. We’re pretty sure the sex tape is one of her mom’s last ditch options when everything else fails to work. Also, the fact that Kim didn’t make the appearance with her entire family also makes her kind gesture a little suspicious—almost as if the family is intentionally trying to shine the spotlight on their bootilicious cash cow in hopes that her naively loyal fan base will forgive & forget. Let’s hope that’s not the case.
Anyway, other celebrities on hand were Jennifer Love Hewitt, who, for the record, has been coming for many years & “Avatar” hottie Zoe Saldana & her sister, Cisley.
The annual event was held yesterday at the L.A. Mission in Downtown Los Angeles.
