The beautiful Freida Pinto donned a somewhat hypnotic outfit at the photocall for her latest film “Desert Dancer.” I’m a bigger fan of what she wore at last night’s “Rust & Bone” premiere only because Freida’s exposed midriff in today’s dress looks like a thick leather belt in photos.
There’s no big red carpet premiere scheduled for “Desert Dancer,” but I’m sure it’s being screened in one of the theaters around town for those interested in checking out the British-produced film. The plot centers around the story of Afshin Ghaffarian, an Iranian who risked his life by pursing his dream of becoming a dancer even though the art form is banned in the country. You gotta love all these feel-good/Iran-hater films at a time when the US is planning a unilateral attack on the country.
