The Bawse in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
It’s hard to believe that Rick Ross has only been in the game for the past six years, as it’s now hard to imagine rap music without him. From the “Maybach Music” call out to the signature grunts, Ricky Rozay is as much a part of the culture of hip-hop as anyone calling himself an MC. To salute this one-of-a-kind talent, who has gone from upstart to classic in such a short period of time, Reebok Classics has selected Rick Ross as the third performer in its concert series. The bar has been set high in this series, with passionate performances from Eve and Rakim having gone down already, but we’re thinking Rick is up to the challenge.
Ross will be performing in Las Vegas on August 20, and we will have venue information for you very soon. In the meantime, visit www.superglued.com/ReebokClassicsto enter to win tickets to the show, as well as other great prizes, and for more info on the concert series, go to http://agenda.complex.com/reebokclassics2012

In keeping with our trend of obscure categories, Celebrity Strollers show what stroller some of your favorite celebrities are pushing their babies. In Jessica Alba’s case add “pushing her toddler” because isn’t Honor Marie four years old already? Shouldn’t Honor not be lazy and walk herself? Haven is less than a year old while Elsa gave birth to India Rose a little over three months ago and Selma’s son Arthur Bleick just turned one years old. With more and more celebrities popping out babies we can only assume that you’ll see more and more Celebrity Strollers on a weekly basis. Photo Credit: Pacific Coast News

With the upcoming release of Total Recall, Jessica Biel is making sure to get the necessary exposure for us to plug the film, embeded the trailer, and link to the movie’s website. For more info, visit the Total Recall official website. View the trailer below…
In a futuristic political setting of 2084, after being devastated by war, Earth is divided into two superpowers, Euroamerica/Western Hemisphere and New Shanghai/Eastern Hemisphere, who are locked in a battle for supremacy. In this world lives Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell), a factory worker suffering from violent nightmares. Dissatisfied with lowly existence, Quaid visits Rekall, a corporation that provides its clients with implanted artificial memories of the lives they would like to have… [More]
If you’ve been anywhere near Los Angeles lately, you’ve noticed those stunningly bad posters of the new Will Farrell-Zach Galifianakis movie, Campaign. I say “bad” because Farrell is in desperate need of some photoshopping these days (ahem ahem), or it could be “good” if that somehow helps the movie’s marketing (politics is showbiz for ugly people, yeah?).
Jon Stewart didn’t ask about the posters or Farrell’s decision to not go under the knife, but he did explain to both actors - thanks to “the great instigator” Jon Hamm- what it’s like to interview stars like them on The Daily Show. Pretty hilarious, check it out!
Watching Ben Stiller’s latest comic misfire, The Watch, was a very personal experience for me because it seems to be based on the Chicago suburb in which I was raised: Glenview, a very nice, clean, and self-satisfied portion of the North Shore known for its wealthy residents and their almost limitless ability to throw their weight around (stop by any local store and stand in line at customer service - oh the stories you’ll have to tell!). It also doesn’t help that co-star Vince Vaughn is a native of the area as well. Alas, I wax too much ineloquence.
The state has been changed to Ohio, but the level of crazy among the residents is the same, thanks in no small part to the lead character Evan, played by resident straight man Ben Stiller. There are his ‘bros’, Bob (Vaughn), Franklin (Jonah Hill), and Jamarcus (Richard Ayoade). Evan is a do-gooder manager at a local Costco who believes that of a man’s house is his castle, then his affluent community is his kingdom. And when an employee of his is found gruesomely murdered, he does what any rational human does in 2012: start a neighborhood watch. A king must defend his kingdom, especially when it sells 36-pack supplies of jumbo toilet paper.
The movie is really not about violence or guns or murder. It’s really just an excuse to get four guys to start a group together to show how sensitive men really are under their skin and how they so deeply and desperately want to bond despite their inability to express or even acknowledge their feelings. Oh, and they throw an alien into the mix because it’s a summer movie and that makes it exciting . . . I’m guessing. Needless to say, you can see the jokes coming from miles and leagues and continents ahead of their arrival (it’s written by Seth Rogen) so if this is your thing, you will get your fix of pot, penis, and poop jokes.
By the way, I don’t know who managed to do it, but somehow they got the brilliant Rosemari DeWitt to co-star in this lowest common denominator buddy movie as Stiller’s wife (which essentially means she has nothing to do but stand there as proof as a hetero normative male). Whoever talked her into doing this should be lauded and then fired. Lauded, for pulling off the feat of getting her in an unthinkable project she’d almost surely otherwise never touch, and fired . . . for getting her into an unthinkable project she should never have touched.

Wildy annoying pop star Katy Perry was seen lounging poolside at her Miami Beach hotel yesterday afternoon. The chart-topping recent divorcee is vacationing with family & friends, so any sugar daddies in search of pop star rebound sex, hit Katy’s hotel.
On to more important matters: So, who caught a showing of Katy Perry’s theatrical debut? The documentary had a decent production budget (which doesn’t include marketing) of $12 million & has raked in roughly $27 million worldwide at the box-office. I really wish that number was $2.7 million, but once again, Katy Perry defied all logic & actually might have earned a few bucks for her music executive pimps. What that means is very simple: More Katy Perry for everyone.
Until those whorebags currently coughing up their hard-earned money on Katy & Co. start spending on some other bullshit, we’ll have to suffer through probably another round of Katy Perry.
The photo with low-cut top was snapped earlier today as Jessica Alba hit the Barneys NY location in Midtown. The actress is currently in the city probably doing some promotional work for her latest business venture, Honest.com. It’s an online-based, somewhat yuppy, environmentally conscious consumer goods company.
As for the slightly more colorful getup w/ the stripes & blue shoes, those were snapped yesterday afternoon as J.Alba was seen hitting up a office building, also in Midtown. Photo Credit: Pacific Coast News
Brazilian hottie Stephanie Fantauzzi still doesn’t have a Wiki page, which is kinda shocking considering she’s a cast member of a pretty big series on Showtime. Let’s hope her agent gets his act together one of these days. As some of you bastards might remember, we last posted Stephanie back in March when we featured her in our award-winning category, Beautiful Women Performing Monotonous Tasks.
These latest photos were snapped earlier this week (Wednesday July 25) as Stephanie was spotted on the set of the deliciously hit Showtime series “Shameless,” starring Emmy Rossum & William H. Macy. I have yet to catchup on the second season, but I really (really) enjoyed the first one. The gorgeous brunette was seen wearing a skin-tight turquoise dress, black and cream studded stilettos and large black and gold earrings. I have a feeling this chick has a lot of potential—but that’s purely contingent on how quickly she can fatten-up her network of friends w/ benefits.
Here’s more about Stephanie from her IMDb bio:
Stephanie Vanessa Fantauzzi is an American actress, model and singer of Brazilian and Italian descent.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil but raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Stephanie began her early singing and modeling career between NY and Miami, but focused her late teen years on pursuing a degree in Journalism and Sociology at Florida Atlantic University while traveling as her father’s interpreter for the family business. It was during one of her work trips to Brazil that Stephanie landed her very first acting role in Marcio Garcia’s directorial debut being shot in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2009, Stephanie moved to Los Angeles to seriously pursue a career in acting and singing. Once in LA, Stephanie began studying acting at the Eric Morris and Aaron Speiser Acting Studios. She has since appeared in national commercials, shot for top photographers and landed roles in hit shows like Death Valley and Big Time Rush and most recently, in Showtime’s Shameless. Stephanie is also actively involved in an educational spokes group for St. Martin’s Animal Foundation that promotes green living and animal welfare in the LA area. [Source]
