Mandy Moore Slightly Cold While Going Down L.A. Curb!

These were snapped yesterday afternoon as singer Mandy Moore was seen grabbing some takeout from celeb-favorite Italian joint Little Dom’s in Los Angeles. Either she was slightly cold while walking out or somewhat excited at getting her hands at the food, but our kinky speculation leads us to believe that it was definitely one of those two.

In July 2012, Moore announced that she would be collaborating with her husband on her seventh studio album. She said, “There’s tremendous influence right now around the house—from the music I’ve been introduced to and being very happy and in a healthy, happy relationship [...] I think that still garners a lot of material to write about.” She added that she thinks the new album will be “intense, emotional”, and hopes it will be released by the end of 2012 or early in 2013. VENICE: Kate Hudson & Others: “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” Premiere

Kate Hudson & her new film “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” helped to open the 69th Venice Film Festival on Wednesday. The festival will run through September 8 & feature a long list of A-Listers who’ll enjoy the beautiful sights of the classic Italian city. Most cheap-ass Hollywood studios take the far cheaper & more convenient route to fly their stars to Toronto for the city’s annual film festival which happens around the same time, but why hit Toronto when you can splurge on Venice?! As for the festival’s opener, “Reluctant Fundamentalist” brings together Hollywood A-listers like Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber with Bollywood heavyweights Om Puri & Shabana Azmi to tell the politically-charged story of a Pakistani man working on Wall Street. The film is directed by Mira Nair & based on a novel by the same name by Mohsin Hamid. Here’s more info:

A young Pakistani man [Riz Ahmed], graduates from Princeton, and chases corporate success on Wall Street. He finds himself embroiled in a conflict between his American Dream, a hostage crisis, and the enduring call of his family’s homeland. Source

NYC: Amy Adams Promotes New Film “The Master” On ‘Letterman’

Oscar nominated beauty Amy Adams paid a visit to ‘Letterman’ earlier this week (Tuesday, Aug 28) to promote her new film “The Master,” which premieres at the Venice International Film Festival on Friday (September 1) and goes into wider release a couple weeks later on September 14. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, and Laura Dern. Here some plot juice:

A charismatic intellectual (Hoffman) launches a religious organization following World War II. A drifter (Phoenix) becomes his right-hand man but as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the drifter finds himself questioning the belief system and his mentor. [Source]
