Like we’ve said on numerous occasions, if that dude is indeed getting to sample supermodel Bar Refaeli, it’s a major victory for all normal(*) dudes. Obviously the * following normal reminds us that while he may look average, the size of his bank account is anything but normal & average. If you’re having trouble landing chicks way out of your league, try making a few million first & then trying your luck. You’ll be very surprised at the results. Whatever the case, these latest photos were snapped over the weekend as Bar enjoys her stay in Mykonos, Greece—probably paid-for by one of her sugar daddies, so don’t think that she’s using her own stash.

NYC: Leighton Meester & Blake Lively On The Set Of “Gossip Girl”

As you bastards know, the sixth & final season of “Gossip Girl” is currently filming in & around Manhattan these days with the show’s two hotties donning their final collection of high-fashion, colorful outfits. These latest photos were snapped yesterday as both ladies worked their fashionable mojos on set while filming in Manhattan.

Needless to say, I really hope shit goes well for both ladies following the show b/c they’ve been an absolute joy to cover (from head to toe) over the years. One of these days we’ll have to look back into our archives & pull a best-of list from our large collection of posts b/c I can remember a few priceless ones. The one post that always stands out to me personally was the Leighton vs Blake legs matchup that we did back in ’09. Since that poll is now defunct, we can re-run it using Poll Daddy. WeHo: Jordana Brewster & Her Sis Took Their Berkin Bags For A Stroll

That’s her sister, right? I’m not 100% sure, but just made a safe assumption. Both ladies were seen grabbing a lunch in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon.

As you bastards already know, Jordana currently stars as Elena Ramos in TNT’s series reboot of ‘Dallas’, renewed for a second season slated to premiere in January 2013. She’ll also once again star as Mia Toretto in “Fast Six,” this time they’ll be on the run in Europe; slated for release in May 2013. The latest film in the popular series started filming earlier this month with photos of Michelle Rodriguez on set in London turning up earlier today. We’ll get those babies up later this afternoon.

Oh Snap! Twitter War Erupts Between Rihanna and Joan Rivers

Oprah’s recent interview with Rihanna has everyone buzzing about her professed love for Chris Brown, including none other than comedienne and surgically altered talk show host, Joan Rivers. A feud has erupted on Twitter between the two with Rivers characteristically expressing how disdainful she finds Rihanna’s still existent feelings for her ex who tried to beat her into a pulp. It went something like this:

@Joan_Rivers: “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her.”

@Rihanna: “@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?”

@Joan_Rivers: “Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!”

Kelly Osbourne seems to have had the last word, tweeting, “W/ the greatest of respect 2 a young lady of whom I love please get a sense of humor @Joan_Rivers paved the way 4 all us opinionated ladies!”

For A Good Time, Call . . . Film Review

Remember New York City? Maybe it’s me, but once upon a time pretty much every movie, television show, and major form of mass entertainment took place in the Big Apple. In the last five to seven years, though, since we’ve had to bid adieu to TV hits like Friends, Will & Grace, and Sex and the City, Manhattan has become increasingly rare to see in either the movies or on TV. The bitingly funny (and fairly mean) new comedy For a Good Time, Call… brings Big Apple dreams back to the fore of America’s moviegoing consciousness, with a twist we haven’t seen since Thelma & Louise or Romy & Michelle: the female buddy comedy.

It starts back in the early college years of two girls named Katie and Lauren. Katie (played by Ari Graynor) and Lauren (played by Lauren Anne Miller) are polar opposites who hate each other at first sight. Lauren is the decent gentle-lady and everygirl, while Katie is a phone-sex working party girl who . . . well, let’s just say she gets around. Lauren ends up getting dumped by her man and is forced, through the magic of movie circumstances, to room with Katie. If ever there was an Odd Couple for the new millennium, they would be it.

Soon, the roomies discover that they might not be so mismatched as they originally thought: Lauren helps Katie start her own phone-sex business, with Lauren operating as CEO and Katie being the face/voice of the company. A few thousand raunchy double entendres later, the two girls have bonded and formed a seemingly unbreakable union that inevitably gets tested by the entry of a (gasp!) man. Will their relationship survive? Will they realize that they are each other’s true soul mates? And will the damn phone ever stop ringing?

All these questions are tidily resolved by the end, and though the film adheres to formula and almost stock character types, the zest and liveliness with which the leads play their roles helps elevate the movie far above cliche. These are real girls in a real city with real dreams. Everyone can relate. And if you can’t, well, you can certainly dial them up and chat about it.

L.A.: Ladies Who Attended “The Possession” Premiere

The Possession is the upcoming horror film starring Natasha Calis, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matisyahu and Kyra Sedgwick. The story is based on the allegedly haunted Dybbuk box. Look for it in theaters on August 31st. For more info, visit The Possession official website.

After purchasing an old box with a Hebrew inscription engraved on it at a yard sale, a young girl, Em (Natasha Calis), is obsessed with opening it, although her father says it appears to have been designed not to open. Em begins to exhibit bizarre and violent behavior. Since her parents recently divorced, her initial actions go without much notice, but Em’s behavior soon becomes more and more extreme. Fearing for their daughter, Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) make various attempts – from brain scans to consulting rabbis – to discover what the supernatural force behind the box is, what it wants, and how to keep it from destroying Em. NYC: Cameron Diaz Gives The Finger Following Her Workout

Cameron Diaz was once again out & about yesterday following her workout with her trainer, except this time she made sure to wave hello to all the papz with her middle finger. That’s the Cameron we’ve come to love, so let’s see if this is a slow escalation to something bigger. Maybe she can peg one of them with a frappuccino or something?

As we mentioned yesterday, Cameron’s big upcoming project is titled “Gambit” and it hits theaters sometime this fall. The 39-year-old stars alongside Colin Firth, Alan Rickman & Stanley Tucci. The film is a remake of the 1966 British movie starring Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine. Here’s some plot juice:

“A British art curator, Harry Deane (Colin Firth), devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England’s richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, (Rickman) into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen (Cameron Diaz) to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.” (Source)

BREAKING!! Amanda Seyfried & Her Running Mate BOTH Rock New Balance Kicks!

We touched on Amanda Seyfried just yesterday as she spends her time in NYC running around with her dog & getting her workout on with a friend. It’s possible she’s in the city for an upcoming film or maybe she’s enjoying her NYC digs minus all the annoying tourists? Who knows.

Last time we discussed Amanda’s upcoming film “The Big Wedding,” which is set to release late October, so this time around, let’s discuss her upcoming biographical film about Linda Lovelace titled simply, “Lovelace.” The film covers the part of her life when she was 20 to 32. There’s no release date just yet, but we’re assuming it’s going to be before the end of the year since it’s probably getting pimped as an Oscar contender. Here’s more about the film:

Linda Boreman gets under the all-consuming influence of her abusive husband and self-declared manager, who uses all means possible to persuade her to comply with his demands.

The fragile woman happens to become an infamous porn star before, even seems to be happy after all, but eventually she breaks free from her husband and (despite being accused of hypocrisy by opponents) discloses the truth in order to prevent other women from getting similarly exploited. Source
