These were snapped yesterday afternoon in Los Angeles as Shia Labeouf was seen taking his classic 1975 Checker Marathon out for a morning coffee run to Starbucks. How can you drive a car like that & hit up Starbucks of all places? You’d think Shia would be more conscious of local coffee joints, not to mention better quality coffee.

As some of you bastards might know, Shia is currently filming director Las Von Trier’s latest freaky project “Nymphomaniac,” which also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Connie Nielsen, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Wikipedia is labeling it as a “pornographic drama film,” so naturally it should be very interesting to see what’s up when this thing hits theaters on May 30, 2013. For the record, Liam Hemsworth was originally supposed to be the lead but I guess he got scared away from all the dirty scenes.

Here’s Shia dropping his thoughts on the film & the role, “The movie is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he’s making. For instance, there’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.” Later he went on to admit that he’s “terrified” to film the movie “Because von Trier’s dangerous. He scares me. And I’m only going to work now when I’m terrified.” (Hollywood Reporter)
