“Why can’t they get Tina and Amy to host?”[Source]
If this isn’t proof that the world is cold and callous, then I don’t know what is: professional funny woman and Hostess with the Mostest Tina Fey has said that she will never, ever host the Academy Awards. Not even with Amy Poehler. Never.
After being mentioned as a potential future host by William Shatner in his monologue with Seth MacFralane during this weekend’s show, Fey readily dismissed the idea, saying, “”I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman — the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone … no way.”
She added, “It’s an honor to be Shatnered.”
MacFarlane himself said he will never host again; so no Tina, no Amy, no Seth, and definitely no Anne Hathaway-James Franco.
Any chance Letterman is looking to redeem himself?

well that sucks, she and Amy would make great hosts. Maybe they can go to another option, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig?
