Kelly Brook Stops By The BBC Radio 1 Studios London

Kelly Brook

The beautiful Kelly Brook, who’s filling in for Fearne Cotton on Celebrity Juice, was at the BBC Radio 1 studios in London. It looks like Kelly is back with (or atleast sleeping with) ex-boyfriend Danny Cipriani as the two were spotted together following the filming of her first episode. Check out Celebrity Juice for video including Kelly Brook hugging it out with co-host Holly Willoughby (i.e. boobs on boobs).

The Science of Celebrity Beauty: Lena Dunham is Prettier Than Jessica Biel

“The frequently body-shamed “Girls” maverick is scientifically better looking than “conventional” beauties Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Chastain, and even Jessica Biel.” [HP]

Not sure if this one really tickles our fancy or if it just made us wonder what kind of bizarre combination of education and priorities could compel a working scientist to come up with such a thing, but there is now a scientific way to measure the physical attractiveness of our favorite celebrities.

Dr. Kendra Schmid, assistant professor of biostatistics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, has devised a formula that measures 29 points on the face, measuring everything from fullness of the lips to the space between the eyes and even nose length. The final score is on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being perfect.

Per the Schmid beauty formula, Lena Dunham is more beautiful than Scarlett Johansson, Taylor Swift, and even Jennifer Lopez. Wrap your heads around that one.

Check the link to see who is regarded as Scientifically Beautiful and who is not (ahem, ahem Steve Buscemi). And just FYI, the average person ranks a respectable 4 on the scale, while the average celebrity is rarely lower than a 6.

Moscow: Mila Kunis, James Franco, & Michelle Williams Promote ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’

The ‘Oz the Great and Powerful‘ promotional machine was in Moscow yesterday pimping the new film, which is set for a US release on March 8. It made it’s world premiere in L.A. last week, so if you missed those red carpet pics, check them here. The film stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs (a.k.a. “The Wizard of Oz”). Mila plays the role of Theodora, Michelle Williams as Glinda, and Rachel Weisz as Evanora.

On a separate topic, how convenient was it that Michelle Williams decided to breakup w/ boyfriend Jason Segel just a week before her new film hits theaters? The Hollywood publicity machine always finds ways to create buzz, so we shouldn’t be all that surprised. Maybe they’re saving the mysteriously “leaked” Mila Kunis nude pics from her cellphone for around March 5th or 6h. Or who knows, maybe Mila & Mr. Douche Bagshton will breakup to further fan the flames of buzz?

While we wait for the next bit of news, check film’s plot:

Raimi’s film is set before the events of the 1939 film. Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. He thinks he’s hit the jackpot, with fame and fortune his for the taking… that is, until he meets the witches Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is really evil before it is too late. Putting his “magical” arts to use through illusion, ingenuity, and even a bit of wizardry, Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.[Source]

Rosanna Davison at Citroen DS3 Cabrio Launch in Berlin

Rosanna Davison

Rosanna Davison attended the Citroen DS3 Cabrio launch at Spindler & Klatt club in Berlin. Rosanna is a former Miss World and with most models is looking to get into films. She’s landed a role in the Dublin-based film Ringsend, an Irish gangster film, which will begin filming next October, long ways away. No word on her role but we’d like to think that Rosanna will be half-naked in lingerie since we know she’s comfortable like that. More to come in the future.

Ke$ha: “My Latest Song is About My Lady Parts”

“That may not be normal to the average psychiatrist out there but I think it’s pretty cool.”[HP]

Well, who said that art is dead? Not Ke$ha, whose latest single “Gold Trans Am” is inspired by her – how do we put this? – no-no place…

According to her recent interview with Q Magazine, “It began as a song about my car, which is a gold Trans Am, and it works about 40 percent of the time. I don’t have another car because I love that one so much. But then like all great pop, it became a metaphor for something else — my pussy.”

She then went on to add in characteristic fashion that, “My vagina is in tip-top working order. Valeted and souped-up and working 100 percent of the time.”

All we can say to that is: good to know.

Paula LaBaredas vs. Claudia Romani: The Bootylicious Matchup

Paula Labaredas, Claudia Romani

Over the past couple of years we’ve taken notice to fresh booty that catches our attention and bring you as much exposure because who doesn’t like looking at a nicely shaped round behind? In 2011 we had “The Introduction and Rise of Paula LaBaredas” and in 2012 “Claudia Romani Makes Her Bootylicious Debut!!” While Claudia continues to be a fixture on the site, Paula seemed to be rather MIA during 2012 and now in 2013. Anyway, we figured to stack up two of our favorite booties and see who comes out on top.

So the tale of the tape: We’ve got SoCal versus Miami Beach, it’s West Coast versus East Coast and we’re not talking 2pac versus Biggie or Kobe versue LeBron. Paula comes to us from Portugal while Claudia comes to us from Italy. They’re both supporters of their country’s national soccer team with Claudia also showing some love for AC Milan. And lastly, they’re both rather bootylicious and know how to work it for the paparazzi. Follow these two lovely ladies on Twitter (Paula’s Twitter and Claudia’s Twitter) and for all juicy bootiness, visit both Claudia and Paula’s sexy categories.

Jack and the Giant Slayer: Film Review

Everyone knows the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Poor farmboy trades in his last valuable possession (a cow, in most retellings) for a handful of magic beans. He is chastised by his family for the stupidity of his trade until he plants the beans, a magic beanstalk grows into the sky, and there he meets a vicious giant who smells his blood and wants to eat him. You know the ending.

The story has been reimagined with mainstream Hollywood gusto as Jack and the Giant Slayer, featuring Nicholas Hoult as the eponymous hero (Hoult seems to be everywhere these days). Since it is a Hollywood action fantasy, it is heavy on the spectacle and a little light on story, which means that it seems to want to be like Snow White and the Huntsman or the recent godawful reimagining of Hansel and Gretel.

Still, it’s pretty darn fun once you forgive all the escapism, which may be easier to do if you’re a fan of fantasy and action hybrids (which I admittedly am). The story tells of Jack the poor farmhand who accidentally stumbles into an alternate world where giants have been at war for ages and the presence of a human reignites their ferocious bloodlust. The supporting players (Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Eleanor Tomlinson) all play together well enough opposite Hoult as their standard issue royal parts, but it is Ewan McGregor as the King’s loyal knight who steals the show with a wistful and courageous performance. One of the better popcorn flicks of late, to be sure.
