Why is it that whenever a satire-based establishment wants to name someone or something “The Worst Of” they always end up picking a teenager? Or someone pretending to be a teenager (we’re looking at you Robert Pattinson)?
Case in point: the NME Awards have named Harry Styles “Villain of the Year” and One Direction has also been christened the “Worst Band”. Yeowch.
We’re not sure why Styles was singled out to be the living embodiment of all that is vile and cruel, but perhaps Taylor Swift was on the judging panel? According to those in the know, he beat out such formidable competition as Prime Minister David Cameron, “Gangnam Style” artist PSY, producer Skrillex, rapper Azealia Banks and indie rocker Fred Macpherson.
To Styles we have but one reassurance: someone else is dumping Taylor Swift as we speak.
