These were snapped yesterday on the set of the upcoming comedy “Townies,” which stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne and Dave Franco. The film revolves around a frat boy (apparently played by Zac) whose behavior affects a local neighbor’s family life (IMDb).
This particular frat party scene called for Zac Efron to dress up a Civil War getup, complete with sword. He first gave a speech to the partygoers and then proceeded to make out with a blonde chick who was in attendance a the frat party. We’re pretty sure during their practice session back at his trailer, these two did a little more than just kissing…
The always-stunning Irina Shayk made a an appearance at the Eleven Paris store launch party held at the store on Carnaby Street in fashionable Soho on London’s West End. It’s a real pit that we rarely see candid pics of Irina Shayk these days considering she’s so private.
The biggest news in Irina’s career at the moment is that she’s the new face of Beach Bunny Swimwear for the designer’s summer, 2013 campaign. We don’t know if Irina stole it away from Kate or whether the company simply wanted a new face, but whatever the circumstances, many congrats to Irina!
Maria Menounos interviewed William Shatner at The Grove for the show Extra in L.A. It’s not the usual tight body-fitting dresses that we’re used to salivating over with Maria but she did get a little leggy for the cameras even if it involved William putting his hands all over her. In addition, Maria was seen taking a pony for a walk on set too. We have no idea what segment that was for but for some reason she still made it look really hot.
The gorgeous Joanna Krupa was spotted shopping for a wedding dress at Chagoury Couture in West Hollywood. Joanna was filming for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Miami where we’ll likely get to see the wedding between her and Romain Zago. We’re certain that Joanna will make a beautiful bride and that their wedding will be an over-the-top celebration; we’re sure there’ll be some drama that unfolds during the show too. But anyway, a big congratulations and best wishes to one of our favorite couples Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago!

If you were extremely lucky & happened to be chilling at one of the many NYC parks over the past week, you would’ve probably spotted Candice Swanepoel working her mojo for cameras as she did shoots for the upcoming Victoria’s Secret’s fall catalogue. You’d think VS would use one of their older models for these non-bikini/lingerie shoots, but obviously is their go-to model these days. As opposed to the previous set that were shot mainly at Central Park, these photos were taken around various spots in Midtown.
Most of these outfits range from “sexy secretary” to “really hot NYC executive” to “traveling hottie” to “hot mom out for a quick walk.” I just feel like when you have older models like Alessandra & Adriana sitting on the bench, why run with only Candice?

There’s much to admire and much to be shocked by in the new film At Any Price from director Ramin Bahrani. The movie is set in the American heartland where farms and gold-hearted farmers toil to feed the nation and reap whatever’s left for their own survival. That meme, it turns out, is utter garbage.
The American Heartland has become Wall Street, replete with vulture capitalists disguised as farmers who wish to swoop in and buy up all the farms they can, creating what are in essence ‘super’ farms and turning a profit that often reaches into the billions.
One such corporate harpy is Henry Whipple (Dennis Quaid) whose family has tilled the soil for generations. Whipple isn’t interested in living through another harvest. He wants to make money – lots of it. And so he sets out to buy as many of the farms in the area as he can. He wants to build an empire and pass it on to his sons, one of whom – Dean (Zac Efron) – is more interested in becoming a race care driver while the other one is off climbing mountains on other continents. His wife and mistress are content to just watch as it all unfolds – and then collapses.
At times, the story gets a bit melodramatic, especially when Efron is called upon to play the spoiled brat/superstar wannabe who doesn’t get his father and his ambitions. But Quaid carries the picture on his own, giving Whipple a hint of Willy Loman that makes him a memorable tragic figure. If it weren’t for the fact that everything is made to turn a profit these days, Whipple might be the real tragedy of this story.
