It’s been a couple years now since Rosie starred in Transformers but yet she can still use that to her credit as she ramps up for her next role in Mad Max. Anyway, as we continue to remind you, we anxiously await Rosie’s next acting role as she stars in Mad Max: Fury Road which also stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, and Zoë Kravitz. The $100 million sequel comes 29 years after the most recent installment & it’s set for a 2014 release.

The seemingly always-troubled singer Chris Brown was spotted cruising around L.A. with a friend in his Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. A couple days back, a Los Angeles District Attorney announced that he will be charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident from last week. The bright spot about this latest announcement is that if convicted this dude might go to jail for up to a year. Very doubtful he’ll do anytime though.

Here’s more:

City attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan says the charges filed Tuesday involve a minor accident on May 21 in the San Fernando Valley.

If convicted, Brown would face up to one year in jail.

Arraignment is scheduled for July 15 at the Van Nuys courthouse, but an attorney can appear on Brown’s behalf.

Mateljan says the county district attorney’s office will be notified of the charges and it will be up to that office and the courts to determine if the case will have any effect on Brown’s felony probation in the 2009 beating of singer Rihanna. (Source: USA TODAY)

The 17th Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant was held at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. Marissa Raisor of Newport, Kentucky, was crowned Miss Hooters International 2013 and with that won $30,000 along with feature appearances in Hooters Magazine and Hooters Calendar. The event was hosted by UFC fighters Chael Sonnen and Kenny Florian and featured judges Audrina Patridge, Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, Cynthia Bailey, ESPN analyst Jay Williams, co-host of The Daily Buzz Lance Smith, Miss USA 2003 Susie Castillo, and Terrell Owens. Audrina Patridge served as one of the judges for the 17th Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant which took place at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. Along with Audrina, the judging panel consisted of Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, Cynthia Bailey, ESPN analyst Jay Williams, co-host of The Daily Buzz Lance Smith, Miss USA 2003 Susie Castillo, and Terrell Owens. Hosted by UFC fighters Chael Sonnen and Kenny Florian, the event featured the final 60 contestants out of the over 18,000 from over 400 locations worldwide that entered.
