Paula Labaredas makes a return to the site to give us a preview of her soon-to-be-released music video for “#SelfieGirl, A Barbie Girl Parody”, exclusively on Paula’s YouTube Channel. The song is a playful, clever, catchy and fun parody of “Barbie Girl”, that highlights the obsession with Social Media in today’s society. Paula got the idea for a parody while working out at the gym.
As Paula describes, it’s basically about how the more Selfies one takes, the more followers it leads to which then leads to being well known which in turn leads to earning more money. Simply put, one can gain fame and fortune just by taking Selfies.
