NYC: Charlize Theron Attends The 2015 Social Good Summit

For those of you who don’t know, Charlize Theron was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace back in 2008 for her activism through her own nonprofit, The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project. The organization was created with the goal to support African youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The South African beauty was on hand at the at the 2015 Social Good Summit showing her support. Here’s more about the event from the official press release earlier this year:

The sixth annual Social Good Summit, a unique convening of world leaders, new media and technology experts, grassroots activists and voices from around the world, today announced that its marquee event coinciding with United Nations Week, will take place on September 27 and 28 at 92nd Street Y in New York with a week of related activities around the globe including meet-ups hosted locally by members of the social good community, and signature events supported by Social Good Summit partners. Aside from working her million-dollar style in the always-fashionable Paris, actress & singer Selena Gomez is also doing some promotional work for her upcoming album “Revival,” which releases on October 9th. These latest photos were snapped as Selena posed for selfies with fans at NRJ Radio station yesterday.

Since we know you guys are dying to know more about the album, here’s an excerpt from the album’s Wiki about album’s various influences:

Gomez stated that the album was influenced by a range of artists, from Janet Jackson to NSYNC. She stated her main influence for the album was Christina Aguilera, specifically her album Stripped (2002). Gomez stated, “I would buy the copy, read the thank yous, and felt like I knew them. Christina’s Stripped was one of my favorites.” Source

amfAR Milano 2015 went down last night at La Permanente in Milan, Italy to raise millions for a good cause, the support of HIV/AIDS research. The absurdly Rich & famous and beautiful women looking to join the group got dolled up & gathered together with their designer pocketbooks in hand to show their support! The annual event went down just a day before Milan Fashion Week is scheduled to close. Catch up all fashion week-related items here.

Alessandra Ambrosio, as expected, killed it. We’re assuming she was rocking D&G, considering she took a photo sandwiched between the two designers upon arrival. Aside from Ale, here are a few of the other ladies who were in attendance at last night’s big event:

It appears Kaley Cuoco jumped straight out of her honeymoon period & straight into divorce, so I’m curious what exactly made the couple call it quits so quickly? I guess when you’re filthy rich & don’t have any kids, there’s really no reason to follow the usual remedies to marital issues: compromising, being patient, makeup-sex, flowers, etc., etc.. Again, what’s the point?

A “friend” close to the couple reveals that these two were a ball of tension by telling People mag ” “You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable.”

Thank goodness for friends!

With Kaley’s divorce in full swing, who’s gonna grab her on the rebound? And once somebody gets a hold of her, will Kaley decide to bite the marriage bullet all over again or will she opt for the MoeJackson-recommended extended engagement? I guess time will tell.

Selena Gomez is currently in London and is being photographed a bunch. Selena had a visit to the BBC Radio Studios arriving at the studio in a blue and gold dress and left wearing a black and red ensemble. Also, she had an exclusive intimate dinner performance at Annabel’s. As we’ve mentioned, Selena is promoting her latest album so we’ll definitely continue seeing more of her.
