Just like probably most of you, when I first saw these photos, the question that crossed my mind was simply, “Wait, doesn’t Quentin Tarantino already have a star?!” I guess not.

Love him or hate him, the guy certainly knows how to tell compelling stories stories and through his directing abilities, makes the audience feel as if they’re actually in the scene. Let’s just say, those are just two of his many competitive advantages.

For those of you who don’t know, that chick in Tarantino’s arms is his latest girlfriend Courtney Hoffman, a young costume designer. We’re assuming some of her work is on display in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film “The Hateful Eight,” which is currently out in limited release, but officially hits theaters on Christmas Day.

Many congrats to Tarantino for the Star! Now let’s watch Sam Jackson work his mojo in “Pulp Fiction.”

@Spanglylovesheels for those who need a bit of help in this......

auteur: a filmmaker whose personal influence and artistic control over a movie are so great that the filmmaker is regarded as the author of the movie.

What next, a post about Joseph Stalin?, or maybe Vlad Dracula?, or Adolf Hitler?

@curvefan Fuck da police. But really, protests led to cops being murdered? First, it's never been safer to be a cop. See Radley Balko's article about that published today. Second, if people are mad at cops, it's because now everyone is seeing the shit they have been up to all these years; only now are they getting caught on video on a regular basis. Cops are lying, abusing, thieving thugs.

@McP @curvefan amen McP. Of course not all of them or even a majority of them but some of them definitely are bad nuts that ruin the whole can. Case in point: Has anyone watched the new Netflix documentary : The Making of a Murderer? Brilliant, long form documentary.

@Spanglylovesheels @McP @curvefan All of them are bad in that (1) they don't act when they see the bad ones abusing their power and (2) they all work for the state in enforcing oppressive laws and putting people in cages for victimless crimes like drugs, among other things, and are there to preserve the existing power structure.
