I have a difficult time believing that Johnny would be aggressive towards Amber, but I have even more difficult time to believe that Amber would lie and made up a story about him abusing her and she's only after his money.

Until we know more to their story, I'm not going to blame either. Johnny looks like hell, he probably does drugs and could have hit her, that is not impossible. She COULD be a gold digger, but I really don't think she would be so calculated and wanted his money and wanted to ruin his reputation if he was innocent. I really don't know what to think now. Vanessa never claimed Depp was abusing her, but some victims never tell anyone about the abuse, and some even protect the offender.

Nicole Peltz and Charlotte look amazing. Amber is obviously lying. She said she was hit by a thrown iphone. that's hardly "abuse." Its a lucky shot. She was prob sleeping around and he saw the texts in her phone, and freaked out. Asking for spousal support when you don't have kids and are worth MILLIONS screams gold digger.

@ValOletta Although I think Amber is beautiful and Johnny is weird, I don't really believe he is a rage monster like she is now trying to make him out to be. He was an idiot for not making her sign a prenup. She is just seeing opportunity here to milk him for money.

I was gonna joke about how some of the morally handicapped people on here would claim Depp was innocent but one of them beat me to the punch. You really have to wonder how badly your parents failed you when your first instinct is to blame the victim or disprove evidence of what happened to them. It's the exact same MO of Neo-Nazis when they try to blame the Jews or claim the Holocaust didn't happen.

@nrkey Amen. That's not to say some women/men don't lie about these things to get revenge/money/fame from the accused, but with a picture and restraining order (which are pretty difficult to get without proof), I don't see why anyone wouldn't be on her side or at least neutral to the situation.

I've witnessed a few abusive relationships and the whole "why didn't you leave sooner?" question is asinine to me. Fear is a huge factor. Fear of vindictiveness, fear that no one will believe you, etc... Or "why didn't you say something sooner?". Sometimes abuse isn't evident for a long time in a relationship. This could have been the first time he's been violent with her. I don't understand how some people can be so stupid.

It's alleged Johnny tried to pay Amber to stay quiet about this. If her allegations are true, I commend her for coming out considering he's a massive celebrity with connections and could easily ruin her career. It shows her character. Perhaps she isn't the 'golddigger' people now want to paint her as? She's speaking up against one of the biggest actors ever and that takes balls, imo.

@nrkey ...OMG, you have a very flawed argument. People defending Depp and blaming the accuser is just as wrong as people (you) defending Amber and blaming the accused. No one knows what happened between them other then those two. And if you say you do know, you are lying. For any of us to speculate who is wrong or right without witnessing the event in person is just here say. Everything right now is accusations, and allegations. The truth will come out, and the guilty will be held accountable i hope.

Oh... And to try to compare this to people saying the Holocaust never happened is cliche, idiotic, and irresponsible. Come on, nrkey!

@nrkey You have been on your soapbox quite a bit lately. I feel that this site should be a bit of a refuge from politics and a lot of the divisive shit that goes down out in the real world. Mostly we make suggestive and obscene and critical remarks on highly paid "beautiful people". Do you think we could tone down some of the high mindedness and spiteful remarks between each other and just get on with the snark and judging of the celebrities again?!
