Here are lovebirds Riley Keough and Ben Smith-Peterson spotted around the Bowery Hotel in NYC yesterday.

Earlier in the day they were dressed more comfortably while walking the area which sits between NYU on side and the hipster-friendly East Village. Later in the day, they looked more formal as they headed to one of the big fashion events of the year, the CFDA Awards. Along with the usual models & designers, the Council of Fashion Designers of America was a star-studded event that featured a number of celebs, as well as a surprise appearance by none other than Beyonce. The singer was presented the Fashion Icon award by CFDA Chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg.

The annual award show celebrating the fashion industry took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom within the Manhattan Center Studios located on 34th Street.
