So What Did You Guys Think Of ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Premiere?

Since it’s Tuesday, I’m assuming most of you guys have already watched the season premiere. If not, please stop reading here as there will probably be a lot of spoilers. With the spoiler disclaimer behind us, I want to say that ‘The Walking Dead’ is one of the few shows that I still keep up with on TV. I also recently started watching HBO’s “Westworld,” but that was only the first episode (it looks very promising, to say the least).

So what was everyone’s take on the premiere this past Sunday? It was obviously a very gruesome episode by design, and I have to admit, I’m already looking forward to Negan’s painful death at the end of the season (assuming that’s what happens). The thing I don’t like about ‘Walking Dead’ for the past couple seasons is that the series begins to drag after the second episode and then picks up steam when we have one or two episodes left in the season. Also, they really need to give more clarity on what the hell is going on with the virus and whether there’s any light at the end of the dark, zombie-infested tunnel?

I bailed on this show after the beginning of season 6. Enough is enough. It is show that always seemed to promise something but has never delivered on any of it. Eventually I got bored enough to quit.

Last season had a couple of nice episodes but it's hard to care for a bunch of idiots.

Sorry buy I gave up watching it around the middle of the third season.....the zombies just never got any better & by then all of them would of died of starvation. Zombies don't eat plants and most of the human race is long gone so where is their food coming from?

@IamLegend_2000 Zombies in The Walking Dead also eat animals. But being dead, they don't need much.

George Romero's zombies didn't actually need to eat at all, they just ate on instinct.

It was an amazingly horrific episode. I was spooked that they wouldn't do it justice. I would agree that its pacing seem go slow, but the payoff was awesome. I probably would have done it before the 2nd break, not 3rd.

Christian Serratos is usually pretty but that hair and dark lipstick don't do her any favors.

Going for the dead look I guess. Succeeded.

I agree that the show was drawn out too long. They took too long to tell us who had been killed and the whole scene in the RV seemed to be pointless. I also hope that Carol puts a bullet in the back of Negan's head before the season is over.
