Our Favorites From The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Apologies this post is coming so late in the day, but we were making sure we’re the absolute last “media outlet” to post photos from last night’s 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. We’re going with a portrait-heavy showcase of our favorite attendees on the red carpet. After looking at all these sparkling gowns for the past few weeks, I’m really looking forward to the Grammy Awards on February 12. OW!

With respect to the awards, it seems like the award shows are playing nice with the African-American community this year after a complete snub last year in the nominations & awards department. Three out of top four best acting winners went to well-deserved African-American actors—Denzel Washington for Fences, Mahershala Ali for Moonlight and Viola Davis for Fences. For a complete list of nominees and winners, check here.

Good to see Sophia Bush on this site, she’s my favorite of all these ladies. Just needs a better dress and a pedicure.

I like Emma Stone here and Sophia’s makeup is cool. Sophie also looks her best here, love the lipstick and the hair. Still just C-listers, though. Rebecca Romijn’s face is a tragedy.

  • I liked Amy Adams and Emily Blunt the most. Taraji also had a great dress. Thumbs down to Kidman and Kate Hudson for me.

Brie looks good here, but that slightly asymmetrical dress make her breasts look off.

Amy looks great, I also like Sophia. Too bad about Rebecca’s face, she used to be so hot.

I totally agree about Brie’s dress. It’s such a gorgeous dress, but the asymmetrical top is so distracting. Why wouldn’t the designer make the top symmetrical? It’s a shame, because her figure looks amazing in that dress.

I really hope Moonlight pulls off the upset. That movie was incredible.

  • Drew_Monetz Brie before and after Room is a solid difference. I saw her at the Toronto Fest past 2 years. Marvel is getting her in tip top shape

Bowser I have yet to watch it, unfortunately. Planning on it sometime this week

Man Rebecca Romijn has hit the wall. She was decent for a very long time but she fell off the cliff.Truthfully I am not really into any of these actresses. Emma Stone or Amy Adams if any.
