“Wind River” was apparently a favorite of fans, critics and deep-pocketed critics at Sundance Film Festival back in January. The film is a brainchild of actor, screenwriter & newly-minted director (this film is his directorial debut) Taylor Sheridan. According to hits Wikipedia, he wrote the screenplay for 2016’s “Hell or High Water” starring Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine, and Ben Foster. That particular film, which released summer, 2016, received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, so “Wind River” might just be worth checking out when it hits theaters on August 4.
Here’s more about the film, which stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen:
US Fish and Wildlife Service agent Cory Lambert (Renner) discovers a body in the rugged wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. The FBI sends in rookie agent Jane Banner (Olsen), but she is unprepared for the difficulties created by the oppressive weather and isolation of the Wyoming winter. When she employs Cory as a tracker, the two venture deep into a world ravaged by violence and the elements. Source

Not sure what you guys thought, but Maggie Grace was always such a clean-cut, beautiful chick, but this latest look is an odd mix between a country music star, your run of the mill porn star and Courtney Stodden. Not exactly in that order, but we don’t think it makes much of a difference. I’ll be interesting to read what you guys think.

As we mentioned in an earlier post, Charlize Theron is currently making the rounds to promote her latest film, “Atomic Blonde,” which is written by Kurt Johnstad and directed by David Leitch. The film hits theaters this Friday and along with Charlize, also stars James McAvoy, with John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and Toby Jones in supporting roles. The wildly successful singer is really turning her focus to conquering the film industry so it’ll be interesting to see how Rihanna‘s new film “Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets” performs at the box-office. RiRi was looking awfully stylish wearing a tight fitting red dress at yesterday’s big premiere held at London’s Leicester Square. The photo of Ri wearing the silver slip dress was snapped later in the evening as she attended a dinner event at Chiltern Firehouse.

Model Karlie Kloss was seen rocking a biker jacket and filming a commercial in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood yesterday afternoon. The 6’2″ tall, 24-year-old model is promoting herself out as techie-friendly model. Back in 2015 Karlie partnered with Flatiron School and Code.org to offer a scholarship named Kode with Klossy, which is geared toward young girls interested in computer science and software engineering.
