Here’s What Some Celebs Are Donating To Help With Recent Flood Victims

Celebrities won’t exactly make a dent with their larger-than-average donations, but they will attract attention to the desperate cry for help and get all of us regular people to start chipping in to help the thousands of flood victims in Houston and surrounding areas. After seeing what some of the big A-listers earned in the past year and then seeing their donations, I have to admit, I was left scratching my head with a few of the donations.

Here’s are 2017’s top 10 celebrity earners (for the complete list, check here):

2. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, $65 million
3. Vin Diesel, $54.5 million
4. Adam Sandler, $50.5 million
5. Jackie Chan, $49 million
6. Robert Downey, Jr., $48 million

8. Shah Rukh Khan, $38 million
9. Salman Khan, $37 million
10. Akshay Kumar, $35.5 million

As for the famous donors to help the countless victims of Hurricane Harvey, here’s what we could dig up:
Chart-topping Houston native Beyonce and husband Jay-Z, who just closed on a $110 million L.A. mansion, pledged to help as many victims of Hurricane Harvey. They didn’t reveal a number, but Beyonce said she would work with her charity and pastor to come up with a long-term plan to help.

As for the celebs who put themselves out there with a donation amount, Sandra Bullock currently tops the list with $1 million! Kevin Hart started an online pledge challenge with a $50K donation and called on his friends to contribute. Directly below is a list of a few of the donors.

Chris Brown – $100,000
Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez – $25,000 each

How Much Will Katy Perry Cough Up For A Stagehand’s Lost Toe?

Well, we’re pretty sure Katy Perry won’t be opening up her designer wallet anytime soon, but I’m sure an insurance company or two will take the hit to cover the legal damages of a stagehand who claims an accident at a Raleigh, North Carolina concert as part of Katy Perry’s lucrative Prismatic World Tour led to the amputation of her right big toe. For those of you looking for a photo of the toe-less foot, head over to TMZ (definitely not for everyone).

For the record, the tour grossed more than $200 million in sales from a total of 149 shows, so let’s hope they can flick at least a few million to cover expenses related to former stagehand Christina Fish’s lost big toe. So, how much is a big toe worth anyway? It’s definitely less than a thumb, but the fact that Christina can no longer wear flip flops and similar shoes is a major lifestyle cost. Let’s say if a thumb is worth around $5-8 million, a big toe must be worth at least around $3-5 million, right? I just hope Christina’s legal team won’t eat up all the winnings from the battle!

And, in other Katy Perry news, it appears the singer took another shot at Taylor Swift over the weekend at the VMAs when she was seen getting frisky with Taylor’s ex boyfriend Calvin Harris. Judging by how Calvin works his mojo with the ladies and Katy likes to give it up easily behind closed doors, I think it’s safe to say that Calvin got a piece.

The Ghost of Justin Beiber Never Seems To Leave Selena Gomez

Selena simply can’t seem to shake Justin Beiber. I hate to say this, but I’m sure Justin still gets to hit it from time to time whenever Selena’s feeling vulnerable, which is probably very often if you gauge Selena’s mental state of affairs based on media reports.

If you aren’t one of Selena Gomez’s 125 million Instagram followers, you pretty much dodged a major bullet yesterday. Apparently Selena’s account was compromised by hackers yesterday after photos of a nude Justin Beiber popped up on her Instagram feed. The account was swiftly taken down as if it’s managed by robots and then minutes later, the account came back online after the photos were removed.

If you’re a parent, this should be a glaring reason why your kids shouldn’t be on social media! Can you imagine all those innocent eyes being forced to see super douche bag Justin Beiber’s junk?! That’s just not cool. You need to create more difficult passwords, Selena!!

The Bieber images were the same ones that were published after the pop star’s Bora Bora vacation in 2015. Gomez and Bieber used to be a couple, but are no longer together.

Bieber has said that the publication of the images, originally in the New York Daily News censored (though the uncensored versions later made the rounds online), made him feel “super violated.” “Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked,” he told Access Hollywood in 2015. “Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space… especially that far away.” Source

Katherine McPhee States The Obvious: ‘The exploitation of women is abhorrent’

It’s one of those celebrity statements that will probably made a lot of you roll your eyes when you consider how Katharine McPhee gleefully allows the industry to exploit her in order to keep the dollar bills moving through the system (and her various bank accounts). Along with a number of other big names, the 31-year-old filed a suit against various websites demanding that they remove the stolen images and requesting that they shut themselves down. Good luck with the latter, Katharine! Anyway, People magazine got a hold of Katharine for exclusive comments.

“I was hacked sometime in the last few years, and along with other celebrities a few days ago, my private photos were blasted all over some sick and despicable websites,” McPhee tells PEOPLE exclusively. “The photos that are mine I am not ashamed of. I love my body and they were taken for a man I was deeply in love with, or for no one but myself. But what is also truly disgusting is that these sites include photos that do not belong to me, and are not of my body, and I’ve learned this happens continually.”

The Scorpion star seeks unspecified damages and injunctive relief in the documents — in which she’s referred to as “Jane Doe” — obtained by LaWestMedia and alleges that she experienced “horror, shock, shame, mortification, hurt feelings, depression and feelings of powerlessness” following the publication of the images. McPhee claims in the papers that she “had a reasonable expectation of privacy in the photographs on her telephone and iCloud.”

“The constant exploitation of women with no recourse for these websites is absolutely abhorrent,” she continues in her statement. “These sites, which TMZ (thank you so much) brings more light and attention to by calling them out by name (shame on you), should be shut down. Period. The end. Even if you aren’t the one hacking, if you have taken stolen photos and put them on your site, you are an accessory and should be shut down. Laws need to be changed.”

McPhee hopes that all people, public figures and private citizens alike, affected by similar breaches of privacy can find justice.

“I am not perfect,” she continues in her statement. “I never have been and never will be. I try every day to learn to be better and to always live and lead with kindness and love. But no one deserves this kind of intrusion. I have other friends on these sites, images and videos that were stolen and they cannot get taken down. This is not just a celebrity issue. This is a privacy and sex crime issue that affects private citizens as well. I hope other female victims and men for that matter, will help and join me in ending this absurdity. Game on.” Source

Shutting down sites is not only shortsighted since a new crop of sites will come up within days but also sounds very self-serving. If you think about it, celebrities give up a little of their privacy in exchange for their career choice. In order to counter this privacy issue, they can either pay more money for added privacy or simply stop taking nude photos of themselves! Getting hacked is inevitable and let’s face it, it will happen again and again so the only logical solution is to stop giving hackers what they want (nude photos). Judging by how often these hacks occur, I have a feeling there will always be a crop of celebs taking scandalous photos of themselves and of course, there will always be hackers with malicious intent.

Katy Perry Is Gives Exes The “Friends With Benefits” Treatment

For having such conservative, Trump-voting parents and an equally conservative upbringing, Katy Perry certainly turned out wild! According to a recent interview with radio host Delilah Rene Katie stated, “I’ve been in that cycle before in a relationship and it had kind of reignited the relationship, and there’s only so many times you can reignite the relationship or want to or should and sometimes you just need to write it and never send it. It’s just that exercise — that cathartic exercise.” (via People)

So it appears that Katy likes to bang exes a few times following a breakup in order to test the waters and possibly reignite the relationship. If rekindling an old relationship isn’t the central goal, I’m sure it’s either out of boredom or nostalgia for a certain position or act she or her ex enjoyed when they were dating. Whatever the case, I think it’s safe to say that Jesus would far from approve! OW!

Get Ready For Taylor Swift’s Nonstop Self-Promo Tour Featuring New Fake Boyfriends, etc.

As if Taylor Swift slyly attempting to upstage Monday’s total eclipse wasn’t annoying enough, get ready for the 27-year-old singer to lay it on strong over the next few weeks (if not longer) as she goes into promotional mode.

Earlier today she revealed that her next album will be titled “Reputation” and she’ll release the first single sometime tomorrow night. You can tell by the image below that Taylor lives in a bubble in which she thinks she’s the center of the universe, but then again, when you’ve had the spotlight on yourself since a very young age, you tend to develop an inflated ego in which you start to think your shit smells like roses.

Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell Launch Legal War Over Hacked Images

Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell got tipsy one night and decided to take nude selfies on their iPhones without ever considering their photos would get saved to cloud hosting services seconds after they were shot. You would think celebrities would be more careful, but apparently there are still a few remaining A-listers who think that just because they are rich and famous, they’re immune to malicious, horndogg hackers.

According to TMZ, Kristen and Stella have obtained the help of lawyers who are now demanding that nude photos of their clients be taken down as soon as possible. The photos, which were taken in a bathroom, feature Stella posing with a nude Kristen standing behind her. We haven’t seen the photos, but apparently the websites that first posted the images are refusing to remove them. After having felt a similar financial sting in the past, our suggestion to the offending websites would be to remove the images ASAP! Aside from the financial burden, the stress that comes with fighting off lawyers is simply not worth the trouble.

That’s somewhat shocking when you consider the fact that Hollywood is notorious for kicking actresses to the curb following their 30th birthday (unless of course your name is Helen Miren or Angelina Jolie). Jennifer Aniston earned $25.5 million and she was sandwiched between 28-year-old Emma Stone and 27-year-old Jennifer Lawrence. The latter two earned $26 million and $24 million, respectively. It’ll be very interesting how much Emma and J-Law are earning when they turn Jennifer Aniston’s age.

As for Jennifer Aniston, the source of her annual F-you money comes largely from juicy royalties fueled by “Friends” and her lucrative endorsement deals with Emirates airlines, Smartwater, and Aveeno. Also, we shouldn’t forget the nearly 40 movies over her long-running career since she struck the “Friends” lottery!

Jimmy Kimmel Perfectly Sums Up The Recent Trump Drama

For all of us who passingly keep up with flood of daily current affairs, Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue painfully summed up Donald Trump’s career as the the 45th President of the United States.

In the monologue, Jimmy brought up something very interesting where he openly wondered whether Trump voters would admit their error in judgement and reassess their feelings about the President based on his overall performance while in office.

Obviously it’s anyone’s guess as how actual Trump voters will react, but I have a feeling that studies in human psychology offers a hint. Of course we can’t pin it on just one source, but I think it’s safe to say that the ideas behind commitment and consistency will carry a substantial amount of weight in forcing people to remain staunch Trump supporters despite all the dis-confirming evidence. With that said, here’s how Wikipedia defines “Commitment and Consistency”:

If people commit, orally or in writing, to an idea or goal, they are more likely to honor that commitment because of establishing that idea or goal as being congruent with their self-image. Even if the original incentive or motivation is removed after they have already agreed, they will continue to honor the agreement. Cialdini notes Chinese brainwashing of American prisoners of war to rewrite their self-image and gain automatic unenforced compliance. Another example is children being made to repeat the Pledge of Allegiance each morning.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but the fact that this Lorena Rae is brunette is freaking some people out. Super manwhore Leo and his people are doing their best to keep it all on the down-low so that he can hit it a few more times before moving on to the next one. I feel like he’s forced to date these girls a few weeks longer than he’d ideally like only after the media blows up the relationship.
