For those of you who missed it, Cindy Crawford‘s 16-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber opened—yes, OPENED—the Chanel fashion show in Paris, so many congrats to her parents for pulling off the seemingly impossible task of raising an appreciative and highly motivated daughter in Los Angeles. That combination of characteristics isn’t exactly easy when you consider the countless number of deep-pocketed parents in Hollywood! Kaia, along with her mom within admonishing distance, has been catwalking through Paris Fashion Week over the past few days, so here a few sightings found on Instagram and Twitter:

    I mean she’s really pretty, but her body is tragic. There’s no shape to her whatsoever, just bones. She’s so young, maybe in 2-3 years she’ll develop some curves.

    I think it’s horrible that fashion designers are using this child to model adult women’s clothing. No wonder so many women have body issues. Look at how skinny she is. I’m pretty sure she’s healthy. She only looks that way because she hasn’t stopped growing. (She just turned 16 a month ago.) By using her to model their clothes fashion designers tell women, “This is what is beautiful. This is what you should strive to look like.” The only thing she should be modeling is clothes for teenagers.

      These days, women don’t have enough body issues. Fat isn’t beautiful or healthy.

    Being Cindy’s child does not make anything special in my mind. She does have a pretty face but when I was that age many girls had pretty faces & did not have sticks for legs like she does. Typical “starved model” look……not appealing.

    I defended Cindy for having her daughter enter the modeling industry at such a young age. Man, was I wrong. This is tragic on so many levels.
