    Celebrities who get hacked and then decide to sue are just wasting money, once something is on the internet it’s there forever, you can’t put that genie back in it’s bottle.

      The goal is to have fewer people see them by demanding sites to take them down. Plus that way sites can’t make $ using their pictures. Sure it’s not 100% effective but certainly worth it.

        It’s far from 100% when you consider the sites in China, Russia & other countries that post these and then just laugh their butts off when “Jones, Brown, and Greene” Attorney’s at Law tell everyone to take the pics down. I’ve always thought that many use the attention they draw to stroke their fragile egos……..see Trump and his daily ego stroking nonsense.
