Judging by the fact that Matt Lauer is taking so long to issue a statement, I’m going to assume that he’s drowning in a pool of denial and can’t come to terms with the reality of his situation. When you amass a lot of money and power, I guess it’s natural to start thinking that you’re invisible. Money.com recently reported that Matt Lauer earned in excess of $100 million over the course of his long-running career at NBC News, so we have a feeling he’ll do just fine before making some sort of comeback after a few years on the sidelines. It’ll be interesting to see in what context these sexual harassers make a comeback, but one thing is certain, they will be back!
Seeing all these media titans fall simply confirms the long-held theory that men with money and power have their way with women behind closed doors, but what about the man at the top of the money/power/fame food chain—POTUS Donald Trump? It appears he’ll be the last man standing….
