Victoria’s Secret models ditched their lingerie for some normal clothes as they each walked the runway at the Tory Burch fashion show as part of New York Fashion Week. While Taylor Hill and Sara Sampaio look more and more average each time I see them, 21-year-old Dutch model Romee Strijd is having the exact opposite effect on me. She’s really one of the gems of the new VS lineup and I hope the company shows her more love in the coming months and years.

It’s interesting that Kendall Jenner was missing from the fashion show, but I guess Tommy Hilfiger wanted to have Gigi Hadid as the center of attention. Tommy Hilfiger and company setup camp on a small strip of Venice Beach and called it TommyLand. The designer hired a bunch of models and showcased their Spring, 2017 collection on the beach.

The production reminded me of a something VS would do, so it’s possible the Tommy Hilfiger is trying another promotional strategy to generate extra buzz. Not to knock on Gigi Hadid, but Tommy’s marketing department could’ve gotten a more A-list model to headline the show. Gigi’s great, but she’s far from a showstopper! I don’t care how many followers she has on Instagram!

I’ll be honest, I had no idea who this was when I first saw the photos. Turns out that this is 19-year-old Dutch Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd hitting up the celeb-favorite Catch Restaurant in West Hollywood with her boyfriend Laurens van Leeuwen (loves posting pics w/ his woman). Here’s the latest from Paris as we get ready for tomorrow’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. After doing the show for so many years, you’d think Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima would’ve called it quits by now, but that’s obviously not the case. Both ladies were in attendance at the photo call held at the Grand Palais in Paris. Romee Strijd is one of Victoria’s newer recruits. She’s a 20-year-old Dutch model who started working with the company just last year, so now Doutzen Kroes’s departure following what appeared to be a failed contract renegotiation doesn’t come as a total surprise.

Romee was out shopping in Beverly Hills with fellow Victoria’s Secret co-models like Sara Sampaio, Taylor Hill and Jasmine Tookes. They all most be in Los Angeles for some sort of promo event or a shoot. The girls were being filmed while they looked at various outfits together at the House of CB store.
