Model Karlie Kloss was seen rocking a biker jacket and filming a commercial in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood yesterday afternoon. The 6’2″ tall, 24-year-old model is promoting herself out as techie-friendly model. Back in 2015 Karlie partnered with Flatiron School and Code.org to offer a scholarship named Kode with Klossy, which is geared toward young girls interested in computer science and software engineering.

As expected, A-list celebrities and supermodels, chart-topping singers and thirsty sugar daddies on the prowl for their latest catch were in attendance at one of the year’s most fashionable events, the 2017 Met Gala. The event is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in NYC and marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss was on the “Today” set earlier this morning to discuss the latest in her continuing efforts to teach young girls to code! She’s apparently taking a little time off the runway to launch a summer camp aimed to teach coding to young girls with interests in the technology field. Believe it or not, but Karlie learned to code a few years ago and this inspired her to pass on, what she refers to as a “superpower” skill to teen girls. You can watch a clip of Karlie’s interview w/ Savannah Guthrie below:
Anyone and everyone in high fashion, as well as prominent members of the NYC-based sugar daddy community were on hand at the annual DVF Awards ceremony last night at the United Nations in NYC. The awards show was held as part of the Women in the World conference, which comes to an end today.
Here’s more about the DVF Awards from its website:
The DVF Awards was founded in 2010 by Diane von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to recognize and support extraordinary women who are dedicated to transforming the lives of other women; women who have had the courage to fight, the power to survive, and the leadership to inspire.
Honorees are celebrated annually at the DVF Awards ceremony at the United Nations in New York City, as part of the Women in the World conference.
Each year, five awards are bestowed to women who have demonstrated leadership, strength, and courage in their commitment to women’s causes. The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation grants each honoree $50,000 for their non-profit organization in order to further their important work.

Not sure how many of you guys watched through the fireworks finale at the Oscars last night, but I’m sure your Facebook/Instagram/Twitter feeds are probably buzzing with clips of how everything collapsed on live television during the Best Film announcement.
Long story short, Warren Beatty didn’t have the courage to speak up. The man was holding the card for Best Actress (Winner: Emma Stone, “Lala Land”) as opposed to Best Film (Winner: “Moonlight”), but somehow he made the rapid mental substitution that he would simply disregard the category & actress name as some sort of freak typo and go ahead and allow his announcing partner Faye Dunaway to do the honors by reading the film name on what was obviously the incorrect card. This quick and dirty act of simply glossing over critical details is a common error in human misjudgment that psychologists have known about for years, but for it to present itself on such a grand stage in front of countless million viewers is simply amazing. I think it’s safe to say that people won’t forget the moment anytime soon.

Karlie Kloss, who seems to rarely take a break these days, was spotted doing a shoot on a Jeep in St. Barts yesterday afternoon. As if getting her photo by professional photogs wasn’t already enough, Karlie took a break during the shoot to take a few selfies using her very own selfie stick.
This is a little off-topic, but people who use selfie sticks are a unique blend. I almost want to do one of our old-school Personality Type write-ups. I don’t what to say they’re straight-up selfish people, but, while completely debatable, I will go on the record to say that people who use selfie sticks are more selfish than people who don’t. What do you guys think? What happened to simply asking somebody to take your photo?!

As some of you might know, Karlie Kloss is currently dating 31-year-old businessman & investor Josh Kushner, who happens to be the brother of Jared Kushner—husband of Ivanka Trump & senior advisor to President Donald Trump. In an attempt to keep her modeling career alive, Karlie was very open to let people know that she she wasn’t a Trump supporter and I believe even her boyfriend voted for Hilary, but who really knows what happens when people actually fill out their ballots (as we recently found out)? I think it’s safe to say that it must be really awkward during a double date night with the two brothers.
These latest photos were snapped over the weekend as an always-fashionable Karlie catwalked around while running errands in NYC.
Looks like Karlie Kloss is flexing her supermodel muscles for all those newbie social media-fueled models like the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner. These latest photos were snapped yesterday afternoon as Karlie was first spotted leaving Magnolia Bakery with some super expensive, designer cupcakes and then jumping onto a helicopter as she was filmed for an interview. We should mention that Karlie just returned back to the city after doing an ad campaign in Sydney, Australia.

If happened to be rich, beautiful or famous (or a healthy combination of those three) last night in London, you were probably in attendance at the 2016 British Fashion Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. For an endless stream of photos of attendees, as well as the list of last night’s big winners, check the award show’s official website for more.
As if her head wasn’t already getting big with all her modeling success over the past year, Gigi Hadid took home the coveted International Model award (i.e. “A male or female model that has contributed most to the international fashion scene in the past year and has demonstrated influence beyond the catwalk.”). And, I’m not sure what this says about the award show’s credibility, but Jaden & Willow Smith won in the “New Fashion Icon” category—riiiiiight. I think it’s safe to say that Will Smith will be mailing a big check to someone at the award show in the coming days.
We would hate to simply gloss over Jared Leto’s stylish appearance without mention. Hey, when you get as many ladies at Jared Leto, he could be dressed up as a clown and he’d still leave with models clinging to him… Photo Credit: FameFlynet Pictures; Jared Leto
