If you do a matchup between the viewing parties, I have to admit, I think the Vanity Fair Oscars party had a slight edge simply because it packed more Hollywood A-list star power. Having said that, I think Vanessa Hudgens was one of the sexiest of the after party pack if we were to do a matchup of the top 5.

Ruby Rose & Others at the “John Wick: Chapter 2” Premiere in Hollywood

As we mentioned in a previous email, Ruby Rose is set to star in a number of films this year, thanks mainly to her popularity on the Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black.” Earlier in the month, Ruby was on the red carpet promoting “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” and sometime later this year, she’ll be back on the red carpet at the “Pitch Perfect 3” premiere. Looks like somebody has cornered the franchise market, but hey, as long as the fat checks are rolling, it’s all good!

These latest photos were snapped last night at the “John Wick: Chapter 2” premiere held at The Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood. Following a near-4x return on the 2014 original, it was only natural for the producers to roll the dice with a sequel! Aside from Keanu Reeves and Ruby Rose, “Chapter 2” stars Common, Laurence Fishburne, Riccardo Scamarcio, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane. The film will hit theaters next weekend.

Since time is a little tight today, we’re going to focus on the big “xXx: Return Of Xander Cage” premiere in Hollywood. It was a fairly star-packed premiere, so there are plenty of faces to keep you guys busy—at least those of you aren’t preoccupied with the inauguration.

Before we move to the commenting on the photos, here’s more about the new film, which is the third in the “xXx” franchise. Hitting theaters this weekend, the film stars Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson.

Extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel), thought to be long dead, comes out of self-imposed exile as recruited by the CIA to race villain Xiang (Donnie Yen) to recover a powerful weapon known as “Pandora’s Box” which can control military satellites which could cause catastrophic damage. Recruiting a group of thrill-seeking cohorts (a sharpshooter and a hacker), Xander finds himself caught up in a deadly conspiracy of corruption among world governments including insiders in his own country’s government. Sure these are coming about 12 hours late, but at least we’re not flooding the site every attendee who walked the red carpet at last night’s 43rd People’s Choice Awards. The award show was hosted by the always hilarious Joel McHale and held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Performances were a little disappointing with only Fifth Harmony (wait, are these guys performing at tomorrow’s Inauguration?) and Blake Shelton (he should be performing at tomorrow’s Inauguration). We don’t want to comment everyone, but Victoria Justice was definitely a heavy favorite off the red carpet last night. Why can’t this chick score more roles!?! If you thought Priyanka Chopra was a big Bollywood star, Deepika Padukone is even bigger back home in India, so it will be interesting to see how she’s received on the big screen by her old & potentially new fans around the globe!

I’ll be completely honest, I haven’t watched any of the films in the “xXx” franchise, but I’m assuming 95% of the scenes are packed with Vin Diesel flexing his “tough guy” muscles. I’ve seen my share of Jean-Claude Van Damme & Steven Seagal flicks back in the day, but for some reason, I no longer have the patience for those types of movies. Is that something that happens with age?

As for the photos, what’s up with Ruby Rose? She looks like a cross between old-school Angelina Jolie with a really pointy chin. And, Nina looks 10x sexier at this event than she did at the Globes or walking through LAX.

Ruby Rose Is Really Embracing La Vida Filthy Rich & Famous!

And, we don’t blame her one bit! Ever since actress Ruby Rose struck streaming gold with Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black,” she’s been getting a lot of love from both critics & Hollywood bigwigs! Believe it or not, but the 30-year-old Melbourne, Australia-native has currently four blockbusters in the pipeline! Let’s just she’s going to be very busy working her promotional game starting off the new year! “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” drops in January, “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” also hits theaters in mid-January, “John Wick: Chapter 2” follows up those two films for a February release and finally, “Meg,” which stars Jason Statham, will release on March 2. Wowzers!

Ruby Rose was spotted last night in Hollywood grabbing a Lyft to go on a date with a mystery girl to Katsuya. The 30-year-old actress hit the jackpot with her season three role in the Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black” and since then, she has signed on to a couple big upcoming action flicks.

“xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” which stars Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, will hit early next year on January 20, 2017. This is the third “xXx” film in the series and this latest one is co-produced by Vin Diesel.

The busy actress will quickly follow up “xXx” with “John Wick: Chapter Two,” which releases on February 20 and stars Keanu Reeves. These appear more to be fat-paydays as opposed to carefully chosen projects based purely on quality, but hey, can you blame her? This chick finally hit it big in Hollywood and I don’t blame her one bit for cashing in.

The film stars Keanu Reeves, Common, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and apparently a small role for “Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose.
