CANNES: Alessandra Ambrosio At 23rd Annual AmfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala

We’re not sure if the long flight from L.A. took a toll on Alessandra or what, but her appearance last night at the amfAR Gala was a major disappointment. It seems like Ale got into Cannes a few hours before the event, put on a dangerously low-cut dress to keep all the attention off her face and on her boobs and then called it a day.

We’re probably being a little too harsh considering she’s one of the few supermodel moms who can juggle her a great personal lifestyle with friends, as an involved mother with her two kids, another as a successful model for Victoria’s Secret and another as a designer-entrepreneur for her own line of clothes (Ale by Alessandra). Alessandra was actually in attendance when it first opened last week and then she left to take care of biz back in Los Angeles and now she’s back again in Cannes.

Ok. So I am going to shoot from the lip and say it even though it goes against the grain of this board. I don't think Ale is elite. I don't deny that she used to be, about a decade ago. But compared to Lima, her chief competitor and Brazilian compatriot, she is not very pretty to me. And this dress just emphasizes all the wrong parts of her. She is also getting that chicken neck thing that skinny, fit women get where there are all sorts of tendons and ligaments showing when they laugh or smile. Julie Bowen and Kelly Ripa are great examples of this. Her veiny feet are another turnoff for me.


I feel like saying something negative about Ale is like wiping your ass with the Bible. But I have to say what I feel since I am a true Bastard.

Elite. I'm normally anti boob job but a Mother that rebuilds her breasts to a reasonable size gets my approval.

Implants are very obvious, still, she's gorgeous.

She isn't too old for the dress... she just doesn't have the boobs/body to pull it off well. If adriana or even gisele (both 35) were to wear it, I think it would look better and they wouldn't look as obviously older.Their boobs it better and they have more athletic builds.

Ale's frame is too small and implants are too obvious now to look as youthful as she could have looked . I don't understand why people like this look on her. Its not her best

I know there are boobs in your face but still. It was a charity event for aids/hiv anyway.

Love the makeup and hair. It looks like her implants are settling in a little bit.
