Whoever is behind Selena Gomez’s womanly transformation should get an award. Going from a chick who used to consistently look like an 11-year-old who raided her mom’s closet (not that Selena’s mom is the type of woman who’d wear this stuff), Selena’s officially at the level where I’m sure Justin Bieber gets a little taste of regret after he’s finished banging his latest Brazilian prostitute and laying on his bed browsing through gossip blogs on his phone checking out the latest pics of his ex-lover.
These latest pics were snapped at Flaunt magazine’s issue release party held at Hakkasan in Beverly Hills. Selena covers the magazine’s November issue. Directly below is an excerpt from the article, which also includes a photo shoot that you can see on the magazine’s website.

Her mom Mandy was only 16 years old and surely had Selena Quintanilla-Pérez ringing like a miracle from every tape deck in her possession in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Tejano star was 21 at the time, the height of her power, and would be shot dead not three years later at a Days Inn in Corpus Christi, crawling for the lobby at midnight, while six hours away, Selena Gomez was toddling through dreamland.
